We stayed here for 2 nights in the dead of winter which surprisingly a great time to visit. We had the place to ourselves! The room (The Living Room) was exquisite - very comfortable, huge and delightfully appointed. The sheets were so soft and lovely. We did quite a bit of wine tasting and everything is so close. The only... More

My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights while traveling around NoCal for wine and beer tasting. We were cheerfully greeted by Natasha and she even gave us a bottle of sparkling wine! It was wonderful to sit outside under the stars and drink some bubbly. The hotel is very lovely and everything is very well thought out. I... More

We stayed here for three days over new years. It is a very cool place with a nice courtyard, gardens and koi pond. Because of the time of year none of this stuff was at its best – I am sure it is spectacular in the summer. The rooms were, however, outstanding. We had the living room and the master... More

We stayed in Guest Quarters 1 over Christmas whilst visiting family and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The suite was very well appointed, comfortable and spacious with a bedroom and separate sitting area, and a modern bathroom. The bed was comfortable and the sitting room had a small refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker. The fridge was stocked with yoghurt, milk, home... More

We spent a very nice weekend at the Madrones. We were there to celebrate a birthday and stayed in the Living Room and Kitchen. Both rooms were nice, large and very clean. The little kitchenette was very well stocked with coffee, filtered water and breakfast items. Since it was a birthday weekend we were surprised with a bottle of bubbly... More

We arrived on Friday night and left Sunday mid-day. We were celebrating a sister's birthday. Cyndee, the proprietress, offered a very warm welcome as though we were long lost friends! The Madrones offers tastefully decorated rooms, well equipped bathrooms and is a great base to explore the wineries northwest of Cloverdale. It is not a hotel, but that doesn't really... More

This was our first time in the Anderson Valley during winter(OK lateFall) and it was great. The weather was clear and cold. Our room , the Spare room, was perfect, and Cyndee was welcoming as always. Pizza at the Stone and Embers was a delightful lunch stop...AND be sure to taste at ALL 4 on sight wineries, don't forget Balo... More

The Estate III Guest Quarters was ideal. The upstairs location had an idyllic view of a fall colored vineyard. Large and spacious, it was a great place to relax and sleep in silence. The Madrones is not just a B&B it is also a wine shop. Four different boutique wineries offer wares in the compound. Tasting is free with the... More

I can't say enough nice things about the Madrones. Our room (The Kitchen) was really pretty with a huge bathroom and a deck with great views. We rarely saw another guest even though I know every room was booked solid. Such a private and romantic getaway. And 4 tasting rooms onsite?! What's better than that? I can't wait to return!

We were attending a wedding in the area and found this 9 room lodge. We had the Garden Room with a great view. The room was large and they had breakfast in the refrigerator. Cyndee, the Inn Keeper was most helpful. There are tasting rooms on property, $150 later we liked one in particular. I would absolutely stay here again.
