Choice hotels has many 'brands' - normally we would consider Quality Inns a bit below Comfort Inns. However, this quality inn should be above most Comfort Inns - recognized as Diamond level was given water & candy bars. Was upgraded to a larger room. Staff is very nice. Room was clean and quiet. Breakfast can be a bit crowded with... More

My 92-year-old mother and I enjoyed staying at the Quality Inn in Petaluma in a large standard first floor room for four nights. Every employee we met was friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was expansive - hot eggs, bacon, sausage, waffles, fresh fruit, cereal, yoghurt, etc and there was always a table available. The computer terminal in the lobby... More

We were put into a very noisy room off the highway. We brought this to the managers attention and were promptly moved. Rooms were clean. Lots of construction workers staying there at the time but weren't a problem. Great home base for a trip to the coast and wine country. Convenient, friendly and clean.

Medical Issues required overnight stay. Starting with a most pleasant and efficient young lady receptionist, we found the perfect Handicap room. Quiet, garden like setting, exceptionally clean and well kept, comfortable and handicap accessible. The entire staff from Gen. Mgr. on down were so accommodating we extended the stay for 3 extra days just to regroup, relax, and visit the... More

Honestly you can't get much better then this if your the average traveler. We come down to the area every year for the NHRA races. This is the only place we now stay. The rooms are always clean and the staff is great. First year we stayed in building 1 which is right next to the pool. Now I would... More

This Quality Inn is in a very nice location in Petaluma. The rooms were very clean and roomy, with no noise from the neighbors. It was on the upside of my budget ($199 per night), but we were only there for 2 days. My brother-in-law reserved his rooms on Kayak and had to pay ahead of time, but only paid... More

We needed a place to stay at the last moment. The desk manager at the Quality Inn in Petaluma was very helpful, courteous, thoughtful, efficient, and pleasant when we walked in. Our room was comfortable, quiet, clean, and had all the amenities we needed. A full hot breakfast is included in the price of the room. [They could use a little... More

Never stayed at a Quality Inn before but we had a wedding to attend in Petaluma and this was one of the choices. Despite many four and five star reviews this is not a hotel falling in these categories. I'm not sure what "average" means but if so many people rated this hotel above average, their frame of reference must... More

sesshi101, thank you for your comments. Our hotel is set-up in seven separate buildings. We do have buildings that are more set back from the highway on ramp. However, a light sleeper may not find that perfect sound proofing, but we do respect a guest's request to be moved or to find a suitable room to their liking. Even up... More

Wife and were looking for a stop over before starting Napa wine tasting. The Quality Inn is located at a busy interchange, noisy construction project for summer of 14. Avoid building 7 if at all possible. Staff friendly and helpful. Good breakfast bar ... Rooms ok for 2 STAR probably more like 1.75 STARS. Downtown Petaluma is very nice with... More

JohnV, thanks for your comments. Thanks to voter funding the highway system in our area is being upgraded, the unfortunate thing is that the construction won't be complete until 2016. Most certainly you can request a room in another bldg. Our town is coming into it's own as a destination. With downtown about a mile away, it's good to hear... More
