This hotel is good location...we spent a day at the ocean and a day at Nascar Race in Sonoma...lots of shopping close to hotel and supermarket and gas stations....easy to find, right off of freeway...clean and comfortable...quiet area....will stay again..

Pros: Great location, quiet, clean comfortable. Spacious room. Breakfast was a nice bonus. Cons: Outlets wouldn't hold plugs, Air conditioner on/off constantly. Lights w/o bulbs. Not enough horizontal space for items in room - esp. if staying more than overnight. No hanging space in bath for towels to dry (mgmt request to reuse) or other items.

The staff are very friendly, rooms are The rooms are clean and spacious. There is a pool, but not hot tub. Lots of roses to enjoy on the premises. There is even a restaurant at the pool side. Comfy beds! We enjoyed our brief stay here.

Good proximity to everything in Petaluma Good sized room, good beds and free internet. Seems clean, and free breakfast adequate. Petaluma is a great place to visit and recommend it on any kind of a vacation.

We found every member of the staff we met was professional and personable, not always an easy combination! Our room was clean and fresh smelling. Everything was in order with nice fluffy towels! A point: the women who cleaned the rooms around us were very quiet, shows a real personal respect for the customer. There was a very clean and... More

Reservation for queen room made two months in advance. Upon arrival, we were "upgraded" to a king bed only to discover upon walking in the room that the room was an "accessible" (handicapped) room. The hotel had no vacancy, so we were stuck with it. The shower curtain was hung at a regular bathtub height leaving a four inch gap... More

Dear Traveler, Thank you for your concerned response. Please be advised that our handicap accessible rooms were designed to meet ADA standards. As such, the bathroom floor was tiled to drain back into the oversized, roll in showers. The shower curtains cannot be stretched to the floor as they will cause a trip/wheelchair hazard. I do apologize for your single... More

Motel is a bit loud but location is good, close to the freeway and down-town area of Petaluma. Big room with desk and chairs was very clean and recently painted. Standard continental breakfast also has two Belgian waffle makers with batter in a self-serve machine. Restaurant on site.

Hotel attracted noisy guests (drinking, loud, wandering around all hours of the night)(This should have been handled with the police & kicking them out of the hotel). Beds are squeaky with the box springs, hard to sleep!

Robert E, General Manager at BEST WESTERN Petaluma Inn, responded to this review

Dear Traveler, I apologize for the noisy guests. There were several guests that were part of a wedding party that did become noisy over the weekend. Our front desk agent followed procedure by providing a warning, which was ignored. He subsequently did call the police out and they provided an option to the guest to either quiet down or vacate... This facility is an older one with need of an upgrade. Bathroom was the size of a broom closet! TV was below standards, with poor picture quality. Staff was friendly, breakfast was good. Location is convenient as it sits adjacent to Highway101. Petaluma is approximately 50 miles North of San Francisco with it's many attractions.
