This is a nice, clean 3-3.5 star hotel in the Sonoma area. The price is really good for the area. It provides a great opportunity for a large group to come together to the Wine Country. The price is very reasonable, compared to what you will pay in the area, and lets a large group stay together! The restaurant is... more

Myself and six others put a bid on Priceline for a hotel in this area at $50 a night and ended up at the Sheraton Petaluma. The hotel was very accomodating as one of our party received Club Level access, and all of us ended up on Club Level. The rooms were very modern and clean. I had to call... more

I stayed at Sheraton Petaluma for a couple of nights for business. I did not have time to explore the hotel facilities, but I was very happy with the room. It was one of the cleanest hotel rooms I've seen, and the bed was very comfortable. In-room wi-fi worked well, and the in-room coffee machine brewed Starbucks coffee and to... more

We were heading home to Monterey Bay from a delightful trip to the Mendocino Coast when we decided it was time to rest. Looked up motels in our AAA guide- stopped at the Petaluma Best Western first but as it was right next to the freeway we went to our second choice of the Sheraton. Happily, the bar was still... more

The Air Conditioning was incredibly loud, like a giant air turbine. We tried to turn it off, but the room got very hot and we could not open the windows because of the 101 noise (hotel is next to freeway). We had to turn the A/C back on and the noise just kept us from sleeping well. Horrible night. On... more

It appears we had a mechanical problem with the A/C in this guests room. Our maintenance department performs regular preventative maintenance checks on all guest rooms several times each year, but problems can crop up between our maintenance checks. Had we been made aware of the problem we would have had our maintenance department trouble shoot the unit or, if...

We had a wonderful stay at the Sheraton. We selected this location as a stop over on our way to Napa Valley for the weekend. Our room had a nice view overlooking the Marina and a small kitchen area. On the night of arrival, we enjoyed complimentary wines from 2 local wineries in the lobby. I understand this happens each... more

If you are looking for a cozy Sonoma stay - don't choose the Sheraton. It's a Sheraton, not a B & B. The main attraction seems to be the banquet facilities. The view choices are parking lot or highway beyond small marina. Somehow the view is better looking at the hotel than when you are looking from the hotel. But... more

We bid on Priceline for this room for a week and were very pleased. Right from the beginning they gave us a very comfortable king bed which I had phoned and requested. The hotel is very well maintained, with everything in good clean working order. I was pleasantly surprised with the computer access and laptop internet hookup in the lobby... more

The Sheraton Petaluma is a nice hotel in a centrally located region for exploring the Sonoma Valley. You will have to drive anywhere from 15 to 30 minutesto get to many of the wineries, but if you want to head noth to the Russian RIver region or to Sonoma itself, this is central place to stay. Its cheaper than may... more

Me and my husband wanted to share a romantic get away with massage treatment and we chose the sheraton; big mistake! From the start the man on in reservations was very unknowledgable and misinformed us of the 300.00 package we purchased. It was supposed to include 2 50 minute massages, breakfast for two, one large room king size bed, and... more

After researching this guests experience it seems there was a misunderstanding between the guest and Expedia, with whom she made the arrangements. The guest spoke to a reservations agent with Expedia and thought she had reserved a package with two massages, two breakfasts, two movies and treats for her dog. We do have packages that include these items, but in...
