Yes it was expensive, the most expensive site during our two week camping trip. However, the kids got to climb a rock wall for free, jump in the jumper, pet animals in their petting zoo, swim to their heart's delight, soak in the hot tub, and watch a movie alongside the pool as the stars began to twinkle overhead. If... More

The KOA was what we expected, and our kids loved it. Wish the store had more to grill than just hot dogs and brats, but was grateful they had that. I've said over and over again how great an investment tours are. We had to cut San Francisco from our own itinerary, so were thrilled that KOA offered a day... More

They pack them in at this KOA and charge a hefty price ($89/night) for an RV park 50+ miles from San Francisco. The good: Paved roads, paved pull through sites, pool and hot tub, rec hall with bike rentals and games for the kids, restrooms and showers are reasonably clean. Easy on/off of the 101 Freeway. Friendly staff. The bad:... More

We came from Oceanside Ca up the 101 and was wanting to stop at an RV Park for the night. We did have 10 of us in a Motor Home and yes we have been paying a little extra for each person over usually about 7-8 person limit no problem BUT KOA in Petaluma through an extra twist on getting... More

This was my first time camping at a KOA and my first time to the Petaluma area. I enjoyed both. The KOA is expensive, but I look at it as though I was paying a resort fee at a hotel. I am getting my trailer site as well as many amenities - pool, playground, bounce pillow, rec hall, farm animals,... More

I wish I could have given this KOA more stars, because they really do try. They need to work on a few details that drop the ratings though. This is definitely a family place, so expect to see children everywhere. It was great for us, because we came with our kids. For just adults, this might not be an ideal... More

As the price for tent camping was at $67 dollars a night I was expecting this to be an impressive koa, however it smelled like cows as we were right by a pasture, the site was not very pretty with minimal tree coverage, and my shower only stayed hot for the first 3-5 minutes. If you are an adult hoping... More

My husband and I stayed there for three days during the America's Cup Races. Not only was the deluxe cabin just like a mini-house including the beds being pre-made, and plenty of basic essentials - plus WiFi and a TV, the grounds were immaculate. There was a barbeque grill right on the deck and it was a gated ground so... More

Had a great time with my kids here. We stayed at the same time as a motorbike meeting. So it was slightly full of revving bikes. But on the whole was great. We used the pool, giant bouncy thing, play ground and washing machines. All of which were great. It's a busy big campground Our rv was one of many

Maybe because it was the July 4th weekend (obviously) but it was crazy busy. No issues and lots of fun and things for kids and families to do. We were told it is usually busy here. Good places usually are. Some people complained about the fees, we think they were good given everything you get. No complaints there Nice campground... More
