I've stayed here numerous times, both in the dorm rooms and in a private room, and it is always worth it. The dorms only have 6 beds per room so they are not crowed at all. This hostel is always neat and clean. The hot tub is wonderful and the view is fantastic.

This is my second visit, the first over 8 years ago. Nothing has changed which is nice. The rooms are very clean, with sheets provided, clean ammenities and a decent spacious kitchen. The people attracted here are usually mature including families and always a nice group of people. There are many walks in the area but a car is necessary... More

First and foremost this is a hostel not a 4 star hotel. If you want to fall asleep to the sound of the ocean and tour the grounds of a wonderful lighthouse then this is your place! My room was located in the same building as the office and the bed was quite comfortable. There was a bathroom located within... More

Had a follow-up stay here again with a friend in August. Location doesn’t disappoint. What a character on reception! Bunks were usual type but with thick memory foam. Curfew work well in keeping the noise down. Great cross selection of people using the dorms. Couldn’t sleep so snuck into the front room and slept on the sofa. Woke to an... More

Our room was very noisy, had two doors so double the noise and right off the living room. The noise was right up to 11pm, and then started again at 6am. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms small and quaint. The hot tub was a little too hot, my husband couldn't get in passed his knees. The bathroom... More

Dear Lislam, We are glad you at least got to enjoy the views of the lighthouse and waterfront. We are sorry that your room was noisy that night, but at least they quieted down by 11pm Quiet Time. Guests are supposed to remain quiet until 7:30am, but this is hard to enforce when you have guests who want to depart... More

We had an amazing time during our 1 night stay over the July 4th weekend at Pigeon Point Hostel. To begin with the checkin process was a breeze. There is something to said about the people who manage and stay at these hostels. We always end up meeting some of the kindest and nicest people in the world. They are... More

Wonderful views over the cliffs. The hot tub overlooking the seals was a real treat. Thanks for the very comfy sitting room furniture, a real treat to have such quality. Beds could do with updating. Big fridges and a barbecue area is provided. Also each house has its own picnic table with views over the sea and cliffs.

The hostel is 4 former Coast Guard buildings each with a common living area, kitchen, and bathroom plus sleeping rooms that are either all male or all female or a limited number of private rooms. We stayed in a private room in the Seal building. The interior of the Seal building clean throughout. The one bathroom being shared by about... More

This was the first hostel I have ever stayed in and I had a wonderful experience! My mother and I shared a room with just one other female (six bunks were available). The beds were extremely comfortable and having a bathroom attached to the room was very convenient. All the necessary amenities were available. The staff was amiable and helpful.... More
