Expensive for what it is… We spent one night at the Costanoa Lodge in the mid-week. For what we paid, I can’t say I was very impressed. We stayed in a Lodge Double and got a discounted rate of about US$185.00 (published rate was $235). Even for the discounted price we paid, the stay was disappointing. The front desk staff... more

My wife and two children absolutely loved our stay at the lodge. It is an upscale lodging place great for executives. If you’re a redneck, the lodge is not the place for you. We stayed at the lodge, king bed, fireplace, large bathtub. It’s nice for a change not to have a TV and I thought I would be bored,... more

Before arriving we'd heard that ownership of this property was now KOA. That would have been fine with us, but the fact is, it just isn't true. Reynolds Resorts have done a fantastic job of keeping Costanoa special as it looks on the website. They've collaborated with KOA in a way that lets the camper enjoy the best of both.... more

This IS a beautiful location but it falls so short on many many things. I stayed in a Fir Cabin which was MUCH in need of a paint job and new carpet......the stains.....don't get me started! I made the horrible mistake of having dinner at the restaurant; I ordered a $25.00 steak that tasted like it was cooked over a... more

Went to a convention that paid for my room. Stayed in the cabins, they were nice, but no bathrooms, you have to walk to a nice outhouse. Breakfast at the general store was fair, but the catered lunches and dinners were very nice. There was a nice Bose radio (no CD player) in my room, but no reception as this... more

A beautiful getaway, or simply a great alternative to a business layover at one of the ghastly Silicon Valley motels 45 minutes away. Love the rustic decor, the smell of pines and the fantastic location. Even the drive via Half Moon Bay or down from San Francisco is great. Still, very very pricy for what they offer: a glorified tent... more
