We stayed at the lodge. It cost $269.00. They said that we could use the spa as part of the room cost. The locked gate is broken and has been for a year.Quite dangerous. We booked the nicest room they had. There was no elevator. We called to ask for a couple of pillows and when they answered the voice mail that... more

My daughter and I went mid-week for a getaway. It was VERY quiet and that was fantastic. We stayed in a hard-sided log cabin (paid $140 which is a lot for us). While that's expensive, we had a very relaxing two-night stay. The staff at the front desk were always helpful. We brought our own food, ate breakfast (with very... more

Ok.. we check in to two grumpy old ladies. I got yelled at because I had to re-ask her where guest parking was??.. and sign a stupid paper with rules i.e., if you walk thru another campsite you get a 25.00 fee, a long list of stupid things.. We had numerous kids coming thru ours from other families - do... more

We stayed two nights in the main lodge. Found the resort to be what was advertised, a little rustic but nice. Our room was furnished in what I call Ikea style, baskets instead of a dresser, shelves instead of a nightstand but it worked. The bathroom was nicely equipped and the room has a refrigerator. We ate dinner in the... more

I heard about Costanoa approx 10 years ago. I was excited with the opportunity to finally book a night there - luxury camping. I did read many of the recent reviews prior to booking, but decided check the place out for myself and booked a Family Tent Cabin. Where to start... When we checked in, I told the desk clerk... more

We stayed at the logde, ready for a relaxing weekend. Costanoa seemed like a really great, unique weekend trip. I will simply list the reality of the Lodge. Thread bare ikea furniture. Holes in the wall (no, I'm not kidding) Zero privicy Sub-par service Hot tub is heated to 100, my bath water is warmer Housekeeping - well, lets just... more

I went last weekend with a couple of friends as a birthday get away. We stayed in a tent cabin, hiked, went to the beach, had dinner in the restaurant, got massages, and used the jacuzzi. We've stayed in hotels and resorts all over the world and Costanoa exceeded our expectations. The grounds and gardens are beautiful. The "comfort stations"... more

COSTANOA by the looks of other reviewers here is a roll of the dice. My experience is simply that the staff is either not there or have taken the phones off the hook. I don't know about you, but this serves as a warning that you are likely to get frustrated and dissapointed when you stay there. Nevertheless I have... more

My husband son and I visited the Costanoa KOA campgrounds for a second time during March 09. Having been here before, we knew what to expect and understood the unique variety of accomodations. During the Summer(June)when we came, there were lots of young families and kids and it was a great all around campground with the best bathroom facilities for... more

I just had a family get together at costanoa and we will never be going back. We payed premium hotel prices for a glorified campground with no additional ammenities. The staff was rude and charged us a hundred dollars for leaving early despite our horrible experience due to loud neighbors. We were led to belive there would be a lodge... more
