The semi rustic lodge is a reprieve from the city and about an hour drive from SFO. The food staff is superb. Had a very nice dinner at their grill, our server was very professional, helpful and "just right". We had a group of 9 using the upstairs room which was perfect for meetings and a lovely porch for breakouts... More

With their warm fireplaces and cozy beds, the cabins are at Costa Noa are pretty comfortable. Unfortunately, their bathrooms are ridiculously small. They lack counter space, adequate towel racks, and showers. A shower is nice (if not necessary) after spending the afternoon on a cold, windswept beach or taking a dip in Costa Noa's frothy, well-used, not entirely clean hot... More

Two couples stayed at Costanoa in November 2014. The first night we stayed in a "duplex family" cabin, the second night in a tent cabin. Both accommodations were clean, cozy, and well appointed and reasonably priced for the location. Neither of the accommodations had a private bathroom-which was not the problem we would have thought because of the convenience and... More

Recently stayed in the Cypress Tent Cabins and loved it! Rooms are comfy a with nice beds, cozy bedding and pillows to ensure a good night of sleep. The heated blankets keep you toasty, a nice contrast to the cool ocean air. Great amenities, robes, and soft towels add to the luxurious feeling even though you have to traipse to... More

We just arrived today, have an upstairs lodge room ($213/night). It is probably 80 degrees with no cross ventilation, no a/c, not even a fan. The sliding door to balcony was open when we arrived at 5pm and we left it open when we went out to dinner. Still too hot at 930pm. Have to leave the sliding door open... More

My husband and I got found a sleepover for a child and headed to the coast for an overnight to celebrate our anniversary. I had been to Costanoa at least 15 years prior with friends and stayed in their tent cabins, having a nice time. This time my husband and I decided to splurge and stay in the lodge. We... More

We needed a close to home getaway for one night and Costanoa filled the bill - about a one and one half hour drive from our home in the East Bay Area. We stayed in a premium lodge room with a large deck. The bed was extremely comfortable. We loved the linens, down pillows, and bamboo towels. Our first day... More

this place has many options, I stayed with my husband at the hotel but they have cabins and even a camping and RV area. The room was clean and comfortable but very basic. There are several hiking trail with access to the beach. The only complain we have is that an incoming message left on the front deskwas not passed... More

I think this place really serves up what it offers, an easy place to CAMP (without needing to lug down all the camp gear) on the coast. We live in the Bay Area so this is an easy drive for us, but we went with a group of 13 which included 5 kids under 5 years, and not all the... More

We stayed in a premium lodge room for 2 nights, but it was a major disappointment. The room was rather gloomy, and the front desk staff was borderline rude, which might explain the fact that the whole place seemed rather deserted. For August, there were very few people around, and I had the worst massage I can remember. I told... More
