Costanoa's location is gorgeous, and its choice of accommodations quite varied. I can't speak for the actual "glamping" experience, as I and my daughters opted for more glamour, and stayed in the lovely lodge on this property. We had two rooms (a large suite for the giggling girl-women, a private room for Old Mom) on the first floor. Both had... More

My boyfriend and I first found Costanoa Lodge two years ago and I was curious about the concept of "glamping." We were driving down to Santa Cruz for the day and decided to book a night in one of their luxury camping tents. It was October, so a little bit on the chillier side, but our tent cabin had heated... I came across Costanoa from a Groupon-like site and decided to try it out. I like camping in the aspect of being out in nature, but don't really care for the notion of potentially digging your own toilet. Enter the idea of "glamping". Glamour-camping is the best of both worlds, or for people who have never camped before and would... More

This was another stop on our travels along Highway 1, our visit was short and purely to take a light meal and a hot drink. The approach is via a long private drive in lovely surroundings. The restaurant is very pleasant with lots of variation in the seating both indoors or on the veranda. Staff were polite and helpful. The... More

How much do we love Costanoa ? Let me count their ways ! Impeccable service - never failed! Beautiful and kept grounds - have been coming here for years and they still keep the grounds beautiful ! Rooms are luxurious - lodge room will get you the lodge side with your own bathroom while the cottages you have to share... More

I love this location. The property is beautiful and quiet. The beach/coast is walking distance. I was there on three consecutive beautiful, clear days (pretty rare). The property is well taken care of. But, I felt it was a bit overpriced for what we got. We stayed in the Marriott Marquis in SF the night before and the room there... More

My boyfriend and I stayed at Costanoa over the Thanksgiving weekend. We were both "orphans" in our city, choosing not to visit our families and were looking for a relaxing and rejuvenating getaway. Boy did we find one in the Costanoa Lodge! Before I go on, let me say that we did our research before staying here. We knew what... More

The semi rustic lodge is a reprieve from the city and about an hour drive from SFO. The food staff is superb. Had a very nice dinner at their grill, our server was very professional, helpful and "just right". We had a group of 9 using the upstairs room which was perfect for meetings and a lovely porch for breakouts... More

With their warm fireplaces and cozy beds, the cabins are at Costa Noa are pretty comfortable. Unfortunately, their bathrooms are ridiculously small. They lack counter space, adequate towel racks, and showers. A shower is nice (if not necessary) after spending the afternoon on a cold, windswept beach or taking a dip in Costa Noa's frothy, well-used, not entirely clean hot... More

Two couples stayed at Costanoa in November 2014. The first night we stayed in a "duplex family" cabin, the second night in a tent cabin. Both accommodations were clean, cozy, and well appointed and reasonably priced for the location. Neither of the accommodations had a private bathroom-which was not the problem we would have thought because of the convenience and... More
