We recently purchased a small camper and chose this location for our first outing. We chose the "Seascape Deluxe" RV sight (we had space 9, no complaints, will request again). Awesome! Nice grass, ocean view, close to the bathrooms/showers, close to kids playground and general store. Our son had a blast and the area is huge for walks, scooter riding... More

Our stay was amazing. We camped out in our own tent and the space available for campers was a large area. We stayed 5 nights and we were never crowded. We did encounter a couple of raccoons but that is nature for you. Loved the place. Very clean showers, restrooms and very nice people. The restaurant on site is pricey.... More

We've stayed in a few campsites on the west coast now and facilities wise this is definitely the best. We stayed for 2 nights in our own tent and it was very reasonable. It was our first campsite with wifi which worked very well. The showers were hot an very clean, there was a sauna and communal fire places with... More

Gene & Chris are wonderful hosts. The walk to the beach is easy. We couldn't be more pleased. Quiet at night, lots of daytime activities, delightful restaurant, lovely location, would definitely stay again. The store is is bit high-end so be sure you have what you need with you!

Camped in the tent area of this KOA , tent camping was ok you are in a field with all the other tent campers so are very close to other campers. Large amount of skunks and raccons on the property. Bathrooms are excellent and showers are free , the facilities seemed very nice but we literally only spent the night... More

Stayed here on the RV side because they were booked solid this summer. But that worked out just as well. Very nice people working the place and living there as well. Tasty organic food at the hut, horse rides, hiking and peace and quiet. Close enough to route 1 to do your tourist thing. Not sure if they let you... More

This summer we travelled for 2 weeks with a RV and visited several KOA campgrounds. In general, KOA does not have the best locations (often close to the freeway of highway), but the quality of the accommodations and facilities is rather good. This was our first KOA, close to San Francisco. It's about 20 miles north of Santa Cruz, in... More

We stayed in this campground three weeks ago. It was a perfect campground, well maintained and in a beautiful setting within walking distance to the beach. In response to some of the posted complaints, my question would be "Why are you here?" This campground is in a beautiful area with few other options for reasonably priced accommodations. There is an... More

My father and I are in the middle of a 2 month road trip of the west and camping in a 35 foot trailer. We've stayed at many nicer campgrounds than this for half the price or less. This KOA is incredibly overpriced for what it is. $65 a night for a very narrow pull-thru site that was not at... More

We were there mid week, just after Memorial weekend. At the time we were there we pretty much had the place to ourselves. We were traveling the coastline in our motorhome, but they had all types of sites (i.e. tent, rv, lodge, etc). The place was well taken care of has some amazing amenities, great view of the ocean and... More
