We knew we were paying a ridiculous rate of $48 a night to camp but expected very nice facilities. Never expected 1 open piece of grass with everybody camping together and absolutely no privacy. Then the bathroom was really DIRTY!! Had to wear my flip flops in the shower because floor was brown dirt. No soap in shower. Garbage was... More

Made reservations for tent campgrounds. Based on reviews, description, and price I expected something a lot more. The website is misleading. They do provide some comforts like showers, but the hot tub is not really there for all guests as it seems to imply, and is below the standards that you would expect of other KOA camgrounds. I made a... More

We paid $118 to stay at this campground. First, the campground is very nice. Clean with nice restrooms. However, we paid for a "Deluxe Ocean View" in Seascape. When it's full, there are no ocean views except a few sites in the very front. Otherwise, the trailers all block each other's views. When we arrived, I complained and their only... More

Stopped here for three nights as part of a 3,000 mile road camping trip with my family. This KOA is unique in that it is unusually well maintained and has features I have never seen before at a public campground. There are several showers conveniently located thought the campground. Each of them has an outdoor wood burning fireplace. All but... More

My husband and I are new to camping as we just recently bought a travel trailer. This was our second camping experience in our trailer and we had a great time at Costanoa for two nights. This is a beautiful campground in a superb location with a number of amenities. The campground is lovely from the start as you drive... More

Love this place, did I say I love it here, its awesome, always clean and friendly staff, great food and drinks at the restaurant and cute comfort stations to sit around with a glass of wine or good book. so much for kids to do as well as adults.

We spent the week at Costanoa. It was not our first visit, but we enjoyed it as much as our prior visits. The camp hosts are always helpful and cheerful and found the perfect spot for us. They are very family oriented and do all within their power to accommodate everyone while at the same time doing all in their... More

What Costanoa has going for it, like any real estate, is location location location. It's just off Hwy 1, there is a nice walking trail down to the ocean but a bit far for little kids. The campground is a large area so you can roam around and stretch your legs. There is access to the old hwy 1 and... More

This is our second stay at this KOA. It is a large beautiful property. We stayed in a RV site that also has a wood deck area for your tent (we are tent campers). There are many fun things to do at this KOA. Just to name a few: playground, bike rentals, horseback rides ($), hiking trails, large chess board... More

Great place. We have stayed here twice and had a great experience both times. It is clean, staff is very friendly, lots of room for the kids to roam. They have a big family area with games-ping-pong, golf, Frisbee, ladderball etc. Bike rentals and horseback riding available. The only down fall is the distance to the beach. It is across... More
