My husband, my 17 month-old daughter and I stayed in an ocean view room (overlooking the 18th hole of the Pebble Beach gold course) at The Lodge at Pebble Beach for 6 nights. There aren't many children there, but the staff is perfectly accommodating of children and we made due just fine. The entire stay was amazing. The golf was... more

Every single thing is perfect. Stunning setting and atmosphere. Lovely, clean, large rooms. Top notch service everywhere. Good pubs and restaurants. Excellent beach club and pool. Oh yeah, and a pretty good golf course too. Easily one of the best resorts I have ever been too maybe THE best. It is very expensive and worth every cent. more

While visiting the Carmel area we decided to stop by the Lodge at Pebble Beach. Mu dream is to hit the perfect drive off the first tee at Pebble. Anyway my wife decided on having the Brunch at the Lodge. What a mistake. Besides being over-priced I've at better at HomeTown Buffet. We sat at the deck outside the lodge... more

Just stayed for the weekend after an 8 year hiatus. The Lodge charges a service fee on top of the exorbitant room rates so that you do not need to tip. Bad policy. We left our room by 7:30 am returning after lunch to relax. Room was not yet made up after 8 hours of being away. We went down... more

We stayed a The Lodge for two nights. Checked in late but service was prompt and we were in our rooms within 10 mins. Room was roomy and very nice. Fireplace in the room was a big bonus and made it feel very homey and rustic. Service for the most part was good all around except for asking for a... more

Just back from a weekend trip to Pebble Beach and Carmel. The Lodge at Pebble Beach, although a bit pricey, was worth every penny. We had a fantastic room in the Sloat building, overlooking the 18th green at Pebble. Enjoyed watching foursomes walking up 18 finishing their rounds of golf from our deck. The hotel staff was professional, very efficient... more

My husband and I stayed two nights at The Lodge at Pebble Beach and at >$1000/night this was the most expensive hotel room we have ever stayed in. So yes, we had an amazing room with a balcony overlooking the 18th green and Stillwater Cove that was really spectacular. We had a lot of fun one evening watching all of... more

Our family brought some out of town guests to Carmel and decided to go to the Lodge at Pebble Beach and have brunch at their restaurant. We were a group of 11 people. I was walking ahead of the group to talk to the hostess at the restaurant, as we had no reservations. The others in the group were just... more

I have stayed at the Lodge a number of times and as my numerous trips to modern hotel rooms across the country makes this hotel seem a bit old. A large majority of the staff is incredible and they have worked there for tons of years which make it that nice familiar face everytime you return. The environment is very... more

Fires in California forced us into changing our booking to this hotel at the last minute. We also had to book a suite as there was no other availability. This was to be a month of sheer indulgence after 34 years nose to the grindstone so we thought why not? Well I can now answer my own question. [1] Decor... more
