Our third Motel 6 heading South with dog. Based on previous experience decided to try the Paso Robles location. Biggest issue was location. VERY down trodden with rough looking bars (some closed) Outside of Motel 6 in disrepair plus parking lots had leaves and garbage which made it look run down. Staff were good and friendly, room relatively clean but... More

Room was in a modern style but only queen sized beds available. Towels thin and rough. Bedspread was clearly dirty but sheets clean. Needed heater though with only 1 thin blanket. Night manager was very nice and professional. Morning desk clerk was not - asked for a hair dryer and she said OK but bring it right back when your... More

Motel 6 says they have newly renovated rooms. Yeah they are, but they are still a very basic motel with limited services. Not worth the $70 Paso Robles charged. Blankets still very thin and not warm. Towels still small and paper thin. The beds were new and comfortable and the LED TV was a nice touch. But the motel in... More

Had a very nice stay at the Motel 6 in Paso Robles, the rooms are very efficiently set up, very clean and comfortable. My only complaint is there is no coffee pot in the rooms. I don't like having to go down to the lobby to get a cup of coffee first thing in the morning.

They may have remodeled all the Motel 6's. But for one, they're still poor quality, and obviously they haven't taught their staff how to clean any better. As soon as we stepped into the room you could tell it was poorly taken care of. The top blanket hadn't been washed in who knows how long. Luckily the sheets were clean.... More

I thought motel 6 would have a level of standards. Stayed there nov 9 , yuck lots of black hair in the bathroom and on the Floors , security lock broken , my husband fixed the chain in the toilet, a old tire in the flower bed that was obviosly there for a while . Just made me want to... More

Nearing the end of a long drive (Tucson, AZ to Santa Cruz, CA) we were unable to gfind a camping place and stopped here at 1:15 PM. The desk clerk was friendly and helpful. The room was basic, clean and comfortable. While I rarely stay at hotels, I would stop here again.

Horrible. Stains on both bed covers, stains on face towel, mould/gunge around plug in bath. Thin towels. Noisy room. Wifi extra cost. No coffee machine, no fridge. Only plus points are quiet AC and helpful man on reception. This has put us off staying at Motel 6's.

The motel was conveniently located, quiet, and clean. It certainly is older, with wall air conditioning unit, typical 'reasonably-priced' kind of motel. The only thing I would do differently is bring my own comfy pillow from home.

This is a Motel 6, keep your expectations tempered and everything will be fine. The front desk personnel were nice (Sean in particular), the pool is actually big enough to do laps, a few restaurants are within walking distance and there was no carpet in our room--so no question about its cleanliness (it was). Our room decor was basic with... More
