I have been staying here for years as we do a lot of work over in the Paso Robles area - I tried a couple of others but they do not compare with the Black Oak service from the repections you receive when you walk thru the door to the time you leave it makes you fell welcome

This hotel is great for business and pleasure. I enjoyed my stay with no problems. The fitness area is great also, nice setting around the pool and spa. There plenty of very nice restaurants nearby. I would stay there again.

Really impressed with Best Western. Really didn't expect too much, but overall it was clean, roomy, and well maintained. We appreciated the candy and FREE waters; nice to see there wasn't a $3+ price for bottled water.

Nice looking grounds , plenty of trees and shrubs to keep it looking a bit modern . Big hotel , parking may be cramped if fully booked . Was told it is an old building , but never would have guessed if I was never told . Rooms are decent , modern and fairly up to date . Plenty of... More

I have travelled for business several times in the last few months and have stayed at a number of budget motels in the area. All were acceptable, but each had their own issues, (cleanliness, lack of upkeep, no real effort to improve appearance of property, etc.). I decided to try the Best Western Plus Black Oak, and could not have... More

A good hotel just off highway 101. Its a good 5 minutes drive to the towncenter of Paso Robles. The staff is very friendly and helpfull. The rooms are a decent size and they are spotless. Ther are a lot of restaurants nearby, where you can go to without using your car. No complaints at all.

Like the other reviews have said the staff is friendly, hotel is clean and beds are comfortable. The only reason I gave it only 3 stars is I believe the owner is not living up to the Best Western Requirements for a PLUS hotel. To be a plus it is required that the hotel provide a complete breakfast not a... More

Thank you for taking the time to review our hotel. We are proud to offer clean and comfortable rooms and our staff works very hard to maintain this standard. I am sorry that our breakfast arrangement that is popular with the majority of our guests, did not meet your expectations. BEST WESTERN PLUS membership states that a breakfast must be... More

We stayed here on our way to San Francisco - The hotel was clean and tidy and easy to find. It's a perfect location for an overnight stay - Not so much a holiday type hotel. A comfortable stay and good value to boot.

The hotel is an old one with not so great furnishings and a tired feel. Reminds me of the 70's and is jammed in a location next to a bunch of gas stations and other hotels. The restaurant that's somewhat attached to the property is way over priced and not good. Even with the hotel discount the restaurant is a... More

Check in a breeze, with friendly quick service. Rooms are nice but ceilings too thin with people upstairs. Not a major deal, just squeaky floors. New work out room and jacuzzi pleasant. We took advantage of the $5.00 coupon (each) for breakfast. Hot coffee and good meal to get your day started.
