Perfect location. Very friend staff. Rooms are old, but clean. The bathroom and show is very clean. The room does not have a frig, but the staff will gladly keep some items in their frig for you. I would definitely come back.

Good enuff for a overnight rest stop. Deco may seemed dated but the room was clean. Same for bathroom, the shower closet is great for winter. Whilst checking in, we had the good fortune of smelling their dinner of bbq ribs. Staff were very friendly.

The good: Inexpensive, very friendly staff, clean room & central location -walking distance to downtown shopping, winetasting & dining. Bed was firm, but comfy. The bad: Needs a bit of an upgrade. Carpets & furniture look pretty dated -grey/brown carpet & muted color furniture (I think both meant not to show dirt/stains) only serves to look dirty when clean. The... More

Luxury this isn't, but it's a fun way to save a few bucks and flash back to times gone by. As others note, it is very clean and well kept, like a time capsule, BUT it is a budget place, so I suggest you bring your own soap, shampoo, etc. Those things are provided (no hair dryer though), but the... Very clean place, and the location is fantastic. Close to the park which is ringed with places to eat and try some of the great local wines and brews. Easy off and back on to the freeway. We will stay here again for sure, the price is great.

Charming 1960s style single story motel with kidney shaped pool. Rooms are dated but totally adequate and very clean. Location is wonderful, one block off the square within easy walking distance of the best restaurants and numerous wine tasting rooms. I love this place and stay here often.

After reading about this motel in an article in Conde Nast Travelers magazine, we decided to give this little throw back motor lodge a try and were not dissapointed. Nothing fancy for sure but the rooms were comfortable, quite and clean. You can tell this family run motel is well taken care of. The best part is that after a... More

Paso Robles has a great small town feel and the area near the motel seemed very clean with nice restaurants. Albeit, this is a motel, the room was cozy and the beds were a bit firm for us. Price was a bit higher than I had thought it should be.

After another long day of riding on the motorcycles, the Melody Ranch Motel was a welcome sight. Very comfortable stay. Clean room, comfortable bed, A/C. Parking just outside of the rooms which makes for easy unloading. Staff very friendly. Motel within walking distance to the city park and main square for shopping/dining. Will definitely stay again when in town.

Great for a one night stay in Paso Robles. I was traveling the Cali coast (north to south) in early August with my two teenagers. After a beautiful day traveling Big Sur, we ended up in cool Paso Robles. This was planned to be just a stop-over on our way to SLO, but making a stop at Daou Winery just... More
