Phillip is the ultimate host and made us both feel completely welcome. The home is stunning. It feels like you've walked onto a photo shoot for a magazine spread. Our room was perfect, and the bed was very comfortable. The location (in the middle of a private gate ranch) is wonderful for stargazing, no light pollution, and bird watching. You... More

We first knew Asuncion Ridge by having joined their wine club several years ago. We have always wanted to try staying at their bed and breakfast inn, which is run by their winemaker Phillip. We finally got our chance and the experience did not disappoint! We were welcomed by Phillip, who had an assortment of snacks and several bottles of... More

This is one of the best B&B's we've ever visited. The location is out of the way from town/highways at the top of a tree-guarded ridge with a 360 degree view of wooded hilltops, vineyards, rolling countryside and the distant ocean, but is absolutely worth the drive. The house is a fabulous upscale Italian villa, decorated with beautiful furniture, wall... More

We had high hopes for this B&B based on the glowing reviews we had read but it actually still managed to blow us away! The location is wonderful, although it's easy to reach Paso Robles for the town and nearby wineries, you feel like you're in your own world and away from everything. It is incredibly peaceful and the rooms... More

There really is nothing to add to all the previous reviews, only that believe them. If you like quiet, understated elegance, knock your socks off beautiful countryside, feeling welcome and cared for - this is the place. It is especially suited for a group using all three rooms. Phillip makes you feel as if it is your house while you... More

We just returned last night from three glorious nights at Asuncion Ridge Inn. No need for me to repeat the rave reviews you will find here, but I will add that the little touches Phillip does (like a lighted makeup mirror and cushy robes in our room) make this place really special. We were with two other couples so having... More

My husband and I just spent 2 nights at this amazing B and B. Number one the view is unbelievably breathtaking. The house is beautiful and comfortable. There were snacks and wine waiting when we arrived. We enjoyed an amazing evening watching the sunset sipping wine. The next morning Philip prepared an amazing breakfast Philip is one of those rare... More

We stayed for one night at Asuncion Ridge. Directions were provided by the owner, Philip. We found our way to the homestead. Wine and nibbles were provided on arrival. The property is amazing, located high on the hill, with breathtaking views. Breakfast was magnificient, the wines sesnsational. A great night.

This was our very first time at this B&B and we just loved it! Philip is a great guy, there isn't anything he can't do! From B&B owner to winemaker to great chef to musician, he's done it all and it was wonderful to be on the receiving end of all his talents. First, the place itself is a little... More

We've stayed at Asuncion Ridge with friends for the past four Memorial Day weekends. Twice we rented all 3 rooms and had the place to ourselves. The first time just the hubby and I, and most recently with friends - their third Memorial Day getaway with us. As soon as we get home, we all want to book the next... More
