My wife and I were very pleasantly surprised by The Langham in Pasadena. The room rate for a well-appointment, spacious room was extremely reasonable (caution: you pay $25/night for parking your car and the hotel charges for internet access), check-in was a breeze, they brought the NY Times the next morning as promised, and dinner at The Terrace, the casual... more

We got a fantastic stay one night, get one night free for $299 deal so we decided to try the Langham. As everyone else has stated, this was the old Ritz Carlton property and it is absolutely gorgeous. The decor is very English traditional with some contemporary touches, beautiful furnishings and spectacular chandeliers. Grounds are expansive and private and at... more

We stayed at The Langham the day my husband returned from more than 6 months' deployment in Afghanistan. I had requested an early check-in, but received so much more! Upon arrival, we were welcomed and congratulated by many members of the staff. The bellman was great - extremely polite and friendly. Our room was fantastic. It was impeccably clean, comfortable,... more

I attended what I like to call a business speed date experience for the Hotel Industry there last week and all of the people attending (all bigwigs with various hotel companies or people with large companies trying to sell them stuff) thought the Langham was terrific. It is one of the 100 best Hotels in the world. I would go... more

This is one of the nicest hotel experiences we have had. We stayed on the club level which is a must in my opinion. The 5 daily culinary presentations are outstanding; you could easily eat all your meals there. The staff on the club level was outstanding. It is like a hotel within a hotel. Very nice property, very helpful... more

We had a very pleasant stay at the Langham this month (May '09). We were celebrating a birthday and when we arrived there were chocolate covered strawberries in our room which was a nice surprise....that set the tone for the entire 2 night stay. Had a 90 min spa treatment which was relaxing, the spa facilities are clean and the... more

I stayed here a few times when it was the Ritz Carlton and I am basing my review on that. I have dined at the hotel since it became the Langham and changes appear to be minor so far as far as the property itself. Very nice property in a nice part of Pasadena near San Marino. Location is good... more

Overall an excellent hotel. Beautiful property, wonderful and attentive staff (especially valet and front desk). I would definitely stay again but hope a few minor issues are addressed. First- as some other reviews indicated- it is confusing to find and having inaccurate directions on the website does not help. Second- when I originally made my reservation my only request was... more

My husband & I stayed at the Langham for a weekend escape. This was our first time staying since it changed hands. The hotel is beautiful, gorgeous grounds & impeccable service presented by the hotel staff. I would highly recommend staying on the Club Level where they offer a lovely presentation of food & drinks throughout the day (our special... more
