Don't stay here. Whatever you do, don't stay here. I travel to L.A. on business every week, and this is by far the worst hotel that I have ever stayed at in the L.A. area in the 10 years that I have been doing so. Beds are uncomfortable, and the rooms are old, worn, dank, dark, and dirty. My room, 109, needed to be completely remodeled. Furniture is old, chipped, and worn. The walls of the bathroom are splattered with the toothpaste residue of previous guests. Rooms don't even have a telephone to call the front desk, and the continental breakfast does not exist. (They only had coffee.) This hotel could easily win the award for the worst hotel in America. More

This one is the exception.

I wish I had driven by first as I wouldn't have given this place a second thought. Street view on Google Maps shows it for the dump that it was, the run-down Astro Motel. But Knights Inn recently acquired it. Trip Advisor didn't have a review yet and I figured, cool, I'll be the first to try out a fresh, newly renovated hotel and be first to give them a...
