My wife and I have been spending winters at RV camps in the Parker Strip for three years, often staying a month here, a month there. [Private camps offer monthly rates as low as $300, sometimes including some electricity. State camps offer only daily rates, which average about $30 - or ~$900/mo.] We've investigated or stayed at virtually all of... More

We stayed at Echo Lodge this past weekend for 3 nights. It was the best most fun place ever. The spot was perfect!! Right on the river, we could walk out our door and right down into the water, to the boats. Our trailer was really nice, and clean. Its awesome to say that when it was about 107 degrees... More

This place has a great location along the river. Our trailer spot was right on the beach and we could anchor our boat and swim right from our site. The facilities are old and definitely heavily used. This is not a luxury resort - but naturally beautiful and a fun place to stay. If you're aiming at the Hilton, it... More

Echo Lodge campgrounds are really nice looking, but that's all! The bathrooms were disgusting as well as the showers. When we commented this to management, they said they would have it cleaned. It never happened. At one time when we visited, the campgrounds were part of KOA. The next time they weren't. Echo Lodge has no standards for cleanliness. They... More

Management is extremely RUDE!!! This was our first family trip to the Parker area and we rented a trailer for 3 nights for 165 a night - extremely overpriced but we had found it online, so didn't know what to expect. The reason it was overpriced, was due to the fact the trailer was extremely dirty and half of it... More

I have been coming to Echo every year for over 25 years and I find it to be the best riverfront campground in Parker. The location is what makes this place great. You have a great stretch of river in front and a rock mountain behind you which provides shade in the early morning. Each river front spot has a... More

first, we were over-charged. exttra $20 charge on each of two two-night stays. apparently it was an additional charge for MAKING A RESERVATION. even with both sites reserved by one reservation, one credit card charge. therefore, a $35 per nite charge became $45 per night. the laundry facilities are terrible. the showers and bathrooms provided are more than terrible. we...
