Positives: Room was big enough and clean. Had all the basics - Wi-Fi, coffee maker, microwave etc. Negatives: Noises in the room - could clearly hear the person talking on the phone in the next room. Very small closet space. Breakfast is minimal and exactly the same everyday. The phone line was not open even for local calls and this... More

We chose this Comfort Inn because of its location to Stanford Hospital, where I had several appointments. The room was very clean, quiet and comfortable. The bathroom had just been remodeled and it was nicely done. We were able to check in early, so I enjoyed a quick nap on the comfortable beds. With the breakfast, we considered it a... More

When my boyfriend was released from a nearby hospital, the staff here allowed him to check in very early so he could rest. I really appreciated that! The room was very clean, everything looked new, nice tile in the bathroom, comfortable bed, and free fridge and microwave. Yes, the WIFI was not the best, but it was free. Some reviewers... More

This Comfort Inn is in a good location in Palo Alto, near Stanford University and the Stanford Mall. The rooms are clean, but the furniture is a little worn. The free breakfast is disappointing, but then there are two Starbucks in walking distance as an alternative. The Wifi works but has its problems, such as having to log in multiple... More

I chose the Comfort Inn because of the price and location, but regretted it. The room was adequate except for being covered with ants. Each night when I returned, my key would not work. The first time it happened it took 3 trips to the office. The young man on duty that first night was at least pleasant, not true... More

The staff and accommodations at this Comfort Inn were very good. The breakfast was quite adequate along with a complimentary news paper. The only problem was that the walls did not keep out adjoining room noise. If you have quiet neighbors it is no problem but if they get noisy, you hear it all.

I was looking for an inexpensive but decent hotel in the Palo Alto - Mt. View area for a business trip, and this worked out OK. The location is great. As for many inexpensive lodgings, the facilities are somewhat worn. Some items like the bedding have been updated, and are quite nice. However, the furniture has seen a lot of... More

My wife and I travel a lot throughout the US, Europe and Asia. We stay in everything from budget motels to five star hotels. In the last year we've experimented with staying at budget motels, especially on long road trips in the US. In general we have been getting really good results, feeling more connected to the locals and generally... More

I was recently in Palo Alto for a big birthday celebration and needed a nice, clean, inexpensive place to sleep. After looking online, this seemed to be the best bet. It didn't disappoint. My room was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed (e.g., coffee pot, ironing board, free wireless internet, refrigerator). Parking (at no charge) was convenient, breakfast (also... More

We chose this hotel due to the reviews thinking it wasn't too bad. However, it was outdated and there was a horrible smell in the room . We had planned to stay 7 days but upon waking the next morning my husband and I both had a severe headache from the smell that must have been some chemical they used... More
