Expense is relative, sure, but at $220 a night (tax incl), I want something a little brighter, quieter and more welcoming than the Quality Inn. Check in was efficient, but the room lighting was poor when I entered (bulb slow to warm up) and the default bathroom fan sounded like a jet engine. The room was fairly stained and wifi... More

I stay here frequently when I'm in Palo Alto for business. The rooms are decent size and have working fridges, microwaves, and coffee makers. Rooms are clean and air conditioners and heating units work efficiently, though sometimes noisy. Large flat screen TVs with large number of stations, including all the HBO premium stations. Free WiFi. Rooms have an antiseptic, bleachy... More

Dirty carpet. Door didn't shut properly. Towels were dingy. Too pricy. Unfriendly staff. Do not recommend it. Good thing I was there only 1 night. Will never go back. I have stayed at Motel 6 and that was cleaner than this place. Stay away from here

Since I was going to spend a day at Stanford University for a day conference, some colleagues and thought it would be a good idea to stay the night before in Palo Alto. Since all the hotels in the area were all at least $350 a night, we thought it would be a good idea to stay in something more... More

Booked and stayed only one night. Arrived and checked in without any problems, even though I was one of three people waiting to check in. I had contacted the desk-office a few days earlier to insure I would have a room that was ground floor and "quiet" (the inn is situated as only a ground floor premises), and they gave... More

This hotel is a little off the beaten path, which is probably why the rates are so good. Rooms are small, but clean. There was a noise problem on a Friday night, which the manager tried to handle, but didn't go away. Over all a decent place, but I would choose a place closer to Woodside next time.

stayed here on a Sunday night for a Monday appointment at Stanford Hospital. The hotel is off of El Camino Real, and has very little road noise. It's an older hotel, exterior hallways, with dated rooms. We had a king room with 2 small chairs, desk, and microwave and small fridge. The fridge was unplugged when we arrived, and the... More

Arrived late and had a reservation. We were put at the back of the motel and the room backed up to a residential area. There was a party going until the wee hours of the morning. It was difficult to sleep and there was nothing that the motel could have done about the situation. It sounded like a bunch of... More

This is a slightly crummy hotel. The bright spots are the front desk staff, who were very friendly and helpful; the relatively large size of the rooms; and a showerhead that actually had enough water coming out of it (a rarity in CA). Otherwise the hotel was not great. The room was a little dirty in places (e.g., there was... More

I've stayed at a number of the hotels in this price range in the Palo Alto area. This is as clean as any of them and quieter than most since it is set away from the main drag a ways. There is an average breakfast table and internet is free. The parking is free and easy. The rooms were small... More
