This is not a fancy Sheraton, but the staff tries hard in an aging infrastructure. The hotel is poorly laid out and you have to step outside to go the lobby or the bar or the restaurant. However, our Club Room Suites were very spacious, clean and well appointed. The bathroom amenities were sad when compared to even a Marriott.... More

No fridge, no microwave, Stingy on the food amount and price, small rooms, very large and confusing layout, not worth the price at all! I've stayed in better hotels for $99 a night with more to offer. OH and THEY CHARGE FOR EVERYTHING!!! including internet access ($10 a day).

The service I find was merely base on how much tip they get. Didn't seem like they wanted to help me at all when I have questions or even just getting room service. The location itself of the hotel is in a good area. Within walking distance to university ave

Stayed for several days. Had a room on a club (conceirge) floor. The hotel is California quirky--strange layout, you have to walk outside to get to the lobby, the bar, or the restaurant. Beds were super comfortable. In addition to the heavy duvet there is a thin quilt. Halls are maze like and confusing. They charge about $10 per night... More

This hotel is nice looking but really expensive. Rooms are old fashioned and the bed is really uncomfortable (mattress was really old that I even hurt my back). Bathroom is tiny. No fridge or mini-bar in the room. The main problem: really noisy as is next to railway. The problem is that there are not good hotels near Stanford University.

I live on the road. I spend about 120-150 nights in hotels of varying qualities around the world each year. I have had fantastic service--often at places I frequent and bring significant business too--and mediocre service, even at supposedly stellar establishments. I have NEVER written a review before, but felt compelled to, based on a truly extraordinary experience at the... More

The first thing you notice about this hotel is the beautiful grounds with koi ponds and wooden bridges throughout. The rooms are spacious, but dated, with stained carpets that give the overall impression of not being very clean. The room service food is not very good, but very expensive - I don't recommend it. If you are here to party,... More

I stayed here over the weekend. I have to say the room's were spot on. Nice bed, beautiful bathroom, well decorated. I ended up having to work most of the time so I was using the internet available over the cat 5 cable they have setup. I have to say it was expensive and slow. It's suitable for surfing the... More

I can't say enough good things about this hotel. It exceeded our expectations in every way. Great location, large rooms, friendly service, well-manicured grounds. Loved it and will be back.

I have stayed here from May 8th to May 11th. The hotel itself is fine--clean, comfortable rooms. The guest services receptionist (specifically Ana) is absolutely incompetent. Every morning they screwed up my breakfast. Since I travel for my work a lot, I understand how important it is to be VERY CLEAR with staff. I explicitly asked for breakfast at 8am,... More
