A fire alarm at 2:00 am on July 11. All occupants of the hotel evacuate to the lobby and downstairs around the pool. A single hotel employee sits behind the front desk, doesn’t move, doesn’t say anything to the guests, the fire department eventually arrives, the alarm is turned off, and hotel guests go back to their rooms. There is... More

I stayed at the Sheraton for 3 nights for a conference. Even at the reduced rate, it was super expensive although they didn't provide breakfast and they charge for internet and parking. I stayed in a nicer hotel 10 minutes to the south at 1/3 price, with great breakfast, free parking and wireless Internet. So unless you must, there is... More

The staff, particularly front desk was helpful and delightful. That being said, I don't know that I would recommend staying here on a summer weekend. The noise from a wedding party was incessant. In addition, there was a lot of late night traipsing up and down the halls by inebriated guests. Along with the noisy plumbing, sleep was elusive. People... More

Good example of an older Sheraton property. The buildings themselves are a bit tired but the linens, rooms, and public spaces were clean. This place isn't staffed like a more expensive hotel but the effort and quality of their people was great. We also liked the open courtyard. Definitely feel like your in a NorCal exburb and not in a... More

Well located hotel for Stanford University; long haul to San Francisco. Staff very pleasant - young concierge delightful; room standard for a Sheraton. Useful guest laundry; good gym - pool in center so swimmers are the diners entertainment! Nice whole foods within walking distance and lots of restaurants close by

This hotel knows how to treat its guests. And that's what it's all about, yes? Corey, the Front Desk Manager, made sure that all would go well, and it certainly did. Nice people, nice property. You won't go wrong in staying at this wonderful hotel. Thanks Corey, and thanks Sheraton!! I appreciate you.

Stayed for four nights at corporate rate. Was upgraded to a room with jacuzzi which made the rooms relatively larger and very comfortable. Being Japanese having a large bath tub makes the experience a lot better so my opinion may be a bit biased. I do think the rates are slightly expensive compared to same kind of rooms elsewhere, and... More

Reasonable price for the area and not a bad location. I asked for a quiet room and they put me around the Koi pond - worked out fine. Clean, staff were friendly and even with a conference going on, I didn't find it to be noisy at all. Two reasons I didn't enjoy staying here. Restaurant was poor. Looked the... More

I have probably stayed here as many as 200 nights over the past 10-12 years. I've often heard people complain about the quality of the rooms and the grounds, but for easy access to Stanford and Palo Alto, at a reasonable price, with friendly, knowledgeable staff, good Wifi, and conference facilities, no other hotel in the area comes close. The... More

The Sheraton's location is great if you want to be near Stanford Stadium, as we did this past weekend for graduation. If only we had been able to sleep.... As many other reviewers warned, the AC units are old and very loud. But in some ways I preferred that noise to the others... The walls & floors are paper thin,... More
