The hotel is pretty old. The service is attentive and the beds are nice and I had complimentary bottles of water in my room. It is conveniently placed near Stanford and thats really the reason why you should stay here. The bad news is that the aircon is very noisy, the gym is small, the bar prices are high and... More

The hotel building somehow suites the area. The rest - just average (rooms, service, atmosphere..). An inner garden has fountains (switched off during the nights). There's a swimming pool too. Kind of safe choice (if you travel by business, not a private trip), but an ordinary hotel.

I have stayed at the Sheraton Palo Alto yearly for a conference for the last 4 out of 6 years. It is by far the worst of all the Starwood properties in which I have stayed. In general, I look forward to staying at Sheratons, W's, and Westins across the nation, but this one is the worst and I have... More

I stayed for 2 nights on a business trip. It is a fine hotel, nothing particular to report outside of the ordinary. The rooms were pretty much like in an average Sheraton. I liked that the pool was centrally located in courtyard. The location is good since one can easily walk to downtown Palo Alto. I found the food very... More

The location is great at El Camino Real close to Stanford and University Ave. The hotel is not well maintained and below the Sheraton standard. Very expensive and does not worth the price, except for the location.

I am a spg platinum member. So I stay at Sheraton for their comfort and added benefits. I travel a great deal and have never been to a club lounge that is closed for the "weekend". For clarification it was a Friday so not the weekend. One computer in the lounge was for employees so they had one computer working.... More

It was a quite friendly atmosphere and front desk was very helpful. Didn't have any problems during the stay. Room was fine. Asked for no-daily-cleaning. Valet parking was good service and breakfast was fine. Overall a fine stay for a business trip in Silicon Valley.

Well-located -- within walking distance of Stanford campus and shops/restaurants just on the other side of the CalTrain tracks. Rooms are clean and comfortable, and pool area is nice. But hallway noise is loud, loud, loud. And we're not referring to kids screaming down hallways, junior soccer tournaments, etc. -- the ambient noise level in at least our room of... More

Excellent service level, great staff in reception. Everything is smooth, they managed to extend our stay despite late notice and fully booked due to a tennis tournament. For sure my next stay when I'm back in the area. Hats off!

I booked a non smoking room for a two week stay. Every night from coming from adjoining room, for the past few nights, I have received a constant breeze of cigarette smoke. Even after a few calls to the front desk, this is still happening. I was told they would send out a security guard to investigate but nothing has... More
