It was last year when I stayed the first time in Dinah's Garden Hotel. I stayed there for 3.5 weeks, so practically lived there and was very happy with the hotel. The rooms are big and clean. The pool area is spacious and you can have breakfast there! The restaurant has excellent food and the staff is super friendly! I'm... More

We visited Stanford and needed a place to stay overnight. This hotel was very clean , comfortable, and had great landscape. It was very close to the University and we would stay again. They were in the process of refurbishing rooms, but there was no noise from it. It also shows that they keep their facility up to date.

I stayed there with my family of 5. The staff was friendly. The hotel looks and feels somewhat dated. There is an outdoor pool but it was not really pool weather. The fitness room had 2 old treadmills, a couple bikes, no free weights & one TV. We saw several 4 star ratings and we expected more

This hotel is wonderful! The staff is so nice, the grounds, restaurant, and room....wonderful. I had booked a hotel in the city and they were very rude to me so I canceled it and came here. I am so glad I did. I slept great, had a great meal, and was treated kindly. My son who is picky about hotels... More

Not sure why I was upgraded to the FDR suite but glad I was. As you probably know President Roosevelt was handicapped, often using a wheelchair, so I suspect the suite name was chosen to reflect that this first floor room is wheelchair friendly with one of the most fantastic showers I've every experienced. Large room with large flat panel... More

The room was smaller than my past trips, although this could have been my fault as I may have booked a smaller room. In the room 3 of the 6 lights didn't work. The trader vics that used to be outside has been replaced with a restaurant called the sea which should be called 'we will give you as little... More

Stayed in Dinah's 4 or 5 times now on business for about a week each trip. In a very long road (El Camino Real) of som pretty grim looking motels, Dinah's really is quite special. It's laid out around a pool and some very nice relaxing water features. Wide variety of rooms which are all comfortable, clean and well equipped,... More

We stayed twice in January and early February and enjoyed every minute. We booked a deluxe room and stayed in building 6 with a lovely view of the garden and water canals. The room was great and quite. I have been traveling for over 30 years staying in many 5 star hotels. This room has everything you need. The breakfast... More

We didn't have high expectations for an old hotel in a non-resort town, but were pleasantly surprised. If the rooms were nicer and had bathtubs we would have given it a 5 star, but the grounds were so peaceful and beautiful we were amazed. The meandering koi ponds with bridges and fountains that wrapped around the buildings were a unique... More

I was on a business trip in Palo Alto and stayed in Dinah's Garden for four nights. There are multiple buildings in the hotel and I had a room in building 6, which was a short walk from the front desk. Room was spatious and clean and the bed was very comfortable. The environment was nice, having small gardens and... More
