Ok, I came to Dinah's the first time for some awards dinner for work like 13 years ago and fell in love with the grounds. Beautiful poolside banquet room but there are lagoons, gardens, ducks, wildlife, elephants in front of the check in building and I love elephants and I just fell in love with it. I always wanted to... More

Pleasant, Friendly, Peaceful, Relaxing, and Beautiful Hotel. This will be "THE ONLY" hotel I stay at from now on when visiting family. NOT A SINGLE DISAPPOINTMENT! Not to mention breakfast was always something to look forward to. Always a warm and welcoming environment. Octavio, Well Done!!! You have changed my image of hotel restaurants. Five Star Experience!!!

This is a wonderful place to stay. Our room was large and included exercise equipment, a walk in closet, a kitchenette and a large king size bed. The staff was very courteous and helpful. The poolside restaurant is a lovely place to have breakfast.

As a business traveler this hotel is a gem. I called my husband tonight and said we should stay here for a vacation get away. This is a older property with many buildings tucked in off of El Camino Dr. The first time my travel agent booked this I was very Leary. Once you enter the lobby and are treated... More

I spent only one night here, and didn't have time to really experience all it has to offer, but it was very pleasant and reasonably priced. A much better choice than a generic chain property; it's really an upscale motel set back off El Camino behind a restaurant, and the beautiful gardens and water features make it very tranquil. Service... More

Yes, this hotel still has the bones of a 1950's-type roadside motel...but it also has some great renovations and lovely gardens. I wish we'd had time to sit and read a book from their library in the lovely and relaxing lobby. What a pleasant space! Our room was updated, large and peaceful. (The bed was the MOST comfortable I've ever... More

This hotel is fantastic. This is no ordinary hotel. We reserved rooms for ourselves and our out of town guests for my son's wedding. We had set aside rooms in other "chain" hotels but almost all of our guests picked Dinah's. We are so glad they did. It is so unique. Beautiful gardens, koi ponds and fountains create a quiet... I stayed for two nights while attending a conference. What a gem! I had a lovely Garden Deluxe room. It was large, with a desk and seating area, a nice view of a garden, a seating area outside that I didn't use, beautiful linens and furnishings -- I can't find anything to complain about. I had breakfast an room service... More

I stayed here for the first time a couple months ago and was really impressed by the friendly, prompt and faultless service. I really couldn't fault a thing. The pool and tranquil setting with the streams, fountains and ducks etc made this place really attractive and I couldn't wait to come back. What a change. Not 2 months have passed... More

Just stayed 8 nights and found that all the other wonderful reviews are correct. A true gem in Palo Alto. I have been to Palo Alto before and always stayed in Hampton Inn(Mountain View). No comparison and Hampton Inn is now more expensive and not worth it. Dinah's price is very good for Palo Alto. I stayed in one of... More
