we usually stay elsewhere but decided to try this motel as the reviews were so favourable. We stayed in building 200 overlooking the pool. our room was a standard one and although not huge was comfortable and nicely furnished. There was also a balcony to relax on. it is in a lovely setting with gardens and set back from El... More

Seems like a nothing special motel BUT big surprise. It is a lovely zen like secret maze of water, foliage and beauty. My room, though, was all the way in the back with a parking lot/garbage view. Avoid bldg 600A. Even so, the pool, outside dining and walkways make up for the unappealing view I had. Some rooms really had... More

Dinah's is a wonderful jewel! Great accommodations in every aspect. Whether on business or pleasure Dinah's is a great pick. The rooms are large, comfortable and well equipped. There is a great restaurant and relaxing pool. I highly recommend Dinah's.

The hotel is a great place to stay if you are in the San Jose area. My wife had a conference and we decided to extend it for a couples trip. The grounds are wonderful and the pool/restaurant were excellent! The room was clean and provided a very relaxing location considering you are in the middle of the city. The... More

My husband travels to Palo Alto frequently on business and stays at this hotel. We tagged along on his last trip to enjoy some time in CA. I was very surprised at how lovely the garden and pool area is. My kids enjoyed the pool and ponds full of koi fish and ducks. The staff gave us a cup full... More

What a soothing place to stay. The grounds have waterways meandering throughout surrounded by trees, plants and interesting statuary with an Asian influence. There are Koi ponds and ducks floating under the bridges that cross over in several places. Very efficient, helpful and friendly staff! Lovely, individually decorated rooms that feel homey instead of being in a hotel room. Great... More

My family recently stayed at Dinah's when our reservations at a different hotel didn't work out. What a delightful surprise! We stayed in the Oslo executive suite; it had one queen and one twin sized bed which was perfect for us as we were traveling with our 3 year old daughter who was happy to have her own bed. We... I stayed at Dinah's Garden Hotel this past weekend for three nights. I had a wonderful time staying here. The garden environment was relaxing and beautiful. The sound of the water features covered most of the sounds of the busy street and neighborhood. The staff in particular contributed to this being one of the most exceptional hotels I have stayed... Found this hotel on trip advisor. It is a converted motel, but don't let that scare you. It is beautiful, quiet, and clean. I took my daughters here for our "girls getaway". The pool was clean, and the room was huge. We were disappointed that we couldn't watch TV. Every few minutes the signal would go out. The operator acknowledged... More

apparently some of the rooms are refurbished, but mine wasn't. smelled old/moldy. seems to be trying for retro-chic, but really just old. kind of a shame, as the room size was excellent. the property itself is very nice. staff were friendly and helpful. could be a fine property with some investment in the décor.
