Very convenient location right on Camino Real, and easy access to the 101 (2 miles or so). You can walk to great restaurants on California St easily, and there is a Starbucks less than 1/2 mile walk. Very quiet rooms, comfortable bed. Close to Tesla and Google and Stanford. No breakfast, but good assortment of Danishes and coffee in the... More

Front desk person was very nice. Hallways were clean and had nice hardwood flooring. (Which I have never seen in a hotel) The room was quiet and very clean. HUGE patio. What can I say? The experience was event-less. Just the way I like it. Also there was a super awesome deli/liquor store on the property. Everyone there was really... More

I stayed here because it is close to Stanford. The Staff here is rude - purposely mispronounced my name and wouldn't send someone to help with bags ahead of time despite having a fractured right hand. When I confronted Staff she became quiet, after lying and stating I didn't give her an opportunity despite explicitly stating what time I wanted... More

I stayed at Creekside because it was convenient to Stanford and was pleasantly surprised by the quiet I enjoyed, even though i had a standard room in the tower facing the side street. The bed was so comfy, with nice quality linens. Nicely appointed room, no complaints.

They have tried to upgrade this traveloge type rooms into something more current includeing idintifiying with the Tech world. But we didn't really feel like we were by nature. there was a big gap in the door frame (not really very green friendly with the wall heater). just a bit dark. we did enjoy the attached restaurant. Very accomidating staff!... More

I have stayed at the Creekside Inn twice for business and find it comfortable, nicely appointed, and quiet. It is not an exciting location or stunning in any way, but it works well in a convenient location and at an affordable price (in contrast to what I view as incredibly overpriced hotels in town like the Sheraton and Westin). It... More

I'm here for a work assignment at the Tesla Motors facility on Deer Creek Road in Palo Alto. The traffic in the mornings and evenings here is VERY busy, so hotels that are even as close as 5 to 10 miles away can take you 40 minutes or more to commute. I found the Creek Side Inn, which was only... More

Palo Alto is a strange place for hotels. For Silicon Valley you'd expect the big chains to have a huge presence, but instead the business traveler is faced with making a choice from smaller chains or individual hotels. The Creekside Inn belongs to a smaller chain. From the outside it looks motel-ish, with outdoor access to rooms, but once onside... More

My husband and I wanted a nice place to stay while visiting our son in Menlo Park. This Inn was a great improvement over the moderately priced hotels in Menlo park. The room was large and nicely furnished. Although it was a room air conditioner unit, the operation was quiet and efficient. The staff was great! We checked in late... More

This hotel is well located if you are to stay close to Stanford Univesity or Palo Alto companies. About 45' ride to SF but heavy traffic from 7am in the morning. Staff is nice and efficient. The rooms are a bit old furnished. There is a good restaurant next to the lobby available from 8.00AM for complimentary breakfast. Prices are... More
