We love this hotel. The staff is awesome. The rooms are great. The location is prime. What is not to love. This trip we also tried the restaurant at the hotel. I cannot wait to go back to Palo Alto so we can stay at the Westin!

I booked this hotel for my Palo Alto combined business and pleasure long weekend trip. The location is excellent - you can easily walk (as we did every day) to University Street for all the great dining and shopping. We had a car and parked it on the property - the parking is expensive as was expected. Using the map... More

I would definitely recommend this hotel. It is clean, convenient to the university/ restaurants/train station and is a good value for the quality of product. The service at the front desk was very friendly too. The only challenge was 2 fire alarms went off while we were there; however, everyone, including the lobby bartender bent over backwards to make it... More

Stayed here for two nights on business and paid over $500 for a room that would be significantly less anywhere else including New York ! It's clean and basic . The staff are very pleasant . The breakfast buffet is ok. Stay at the Garden Court Inn if you can. Similar price , much more pleasant environment .

We like clean. We know the Westin standard and trust that we are going to be taken care of when we stay at a Westin. We were able to walk from the hotel to town and enjoy the vibe in Palo Alto. Will definitely go back.

I have stayed at the Westin Palo Alto (WPA) three or four times in the past year for work. I know there is a ton going on in Palo Alto and the surrounding area but I can't believe how hard it is to get a room here and how much they can charge! My rating of two dots is reflective... More

Stayed two nights while one of the kids finished up a program at Stanford. The hotel was convenient to the school and downtown. It is laid back and quaint. Not what I expected. The rooms are large and comfortable. The bathrooms are decently sized. There is a small lobby bar where you can get a drink and a sandwich. The... More

I realize this is Palo Alto, but over $500 a night for a small room very, very far from the elevator is insane! The hotel itself is pretty, the room nice, other than the size, the pool/ hot tub is great and the bar staff very friendly, however the desk staff wasn't particularly on point, which I was surprised at... What a disappointment. We came here in order to be close to the Stanford Surgical Center. I had expected a superior hotel with exceptional service. Not so much. The room is sparsely appointed and the amenities are sorry. This is more like an average Sheraton. The food and beverage is nothing special. We ordered a strawberry smoothie. It came as... More

This Westin is much like others, with good service, comfortable beds and rooms, an in-room fridge, reliable internet connections, and ample bathrooms, but all at quite a high cost. Perhaps the location and lack of options determine the prices since the Westin and the Sheraton Palo Alto (next door neighbors) are directly across the street from Stanford University with few... Dear phiNole, Thank you for the great feedback on our hotel. We're thrilled that you enjoyed much that our hotel has to offer but regret that we did not live up to expectations in regards to price. We realize that Palo Alto is more expensive than many travelers expect and strive to WOW our guests to justify the price. Please... More
