I stayed here while attending a conference at Stanford. It was very convenient for the conference - just a 30 minute stroll across the underpass and through the beautiful Stanford campus grounds each day. It is also very handy to the train from SF and SFO (although the side leg on BART to get onto the train was a little... More

Good location, darling (small), clean rooms. Beautiful breakfast choices. But OMG way too expensive for what it is. Comparable to a cute mid-level, boutique/european type hotel - maybe a $200/night experience only because it's in Palo Alto - instead...$500/night. Whoa. Service is adequate, but certainly not luxury by any means. Poor security - often no one was in the lobby... More

I think it's not for everyone since room is very small compared to major hotel chains. So, if you are planned to work from your room, maybe the small desk will be a issue. Internet was okay during my stay. But if you don't spend too much time at the room, that's perfect choice for you. Most important thing they... More

While I normally am quite fond of small boutique hotels, I would not advise staying here unless you are traveling alone for business and won't spend much time in your room. There is a lot to like here- nice (free) breakfast, pleasant wine happy hour (also free), clean rooms and friendly staff. It just that the rooms are VERY small.... More

Great central location for this cute little hotel. I stayed 4 nights and was starting to miss any kind of wardrobe space, but for 1 or 2 nights its perfect. The bed is very comfortable, room was spotless. Breakfast is great to grab and go, and the evening cookies & wine added a nice touch. What could be better: I... More

We were 'luckily' upgraded to a deluxe room from standard (can't imagine what the standard is like) but even this room was tiny! And no bathroom door, just a curtain...so you better not by shy about the person you are staying with, hearing you on the potty 😕 Shower is nice, room clean and friendly staff...although the person behind the... We stayed here over the weekend as part of a wedding party. They gave a GREAT group rate for the wedding party, as compared to the usual nightly price. Hotel staff was very friendly, and very helpful for the large wedding party (especially great when one of the groomsman became ill during "getting ready" photos). Very nice complimentary breakfast. Rooms... More

I always stay here for business! Love that it's right in downtown Palo Alto which is so convenient! Service and staff is great! Room is on small size but it serve the purpose for boutique hotel! Breakfast is included and great when you always in the go. Complimentary wine after work is a nice touch!

Stayed for business overnight - great location! Hotel staff was nice, room was ready right away. Small rooms, however, does the trick for 1 or 2 people. Updated, clean & relatively quiet. Room was very close to the lobby so you could hear guests and staff talking as they arrived/departed. Cookies at night, breakfast in the morning, water/coffee/tea at all... More
