My husband and I planned a last minute trip to Palm Springs for 1 night. Booked a horrible horrible hotel as their photos didnt do justice. Canceled that hotel, called around and found GARDEN VISTA property. Rob the front desk was really helpful. It was only 10 mins away from where we are and was able to get a room... More

The price for this very cheap hotel was crazy expensive...but it was a big tennis weekend and everything was ridiculous, so this was one of the only affordable hotels. The carpets were so dirty and stained, and torn up, that we immediately felt the need to take the bed covers off and throw them to the side. The tile was... More

We stayed at the Garden Vista for a senior softball tourney---what a great place. We checked in with David, and it seemed like he was there every time we were in the lobby area! The lobby was very clean, and our room was spotless! Very large, spacious living area with two sinks, one in the bathroom and one in the... More

Got 4 bedbug bites from this hotel this past weekend. Place is dirty and run down. Yes, it is very cheap but I'd rather spend the extra money to not be sleeping in bug infested beds. Besides that, the room was just dirty in general. The floors definitely had not been cleaned as walking barefoot from the shower to my... More

We are in the process of reviewing the claims made by Brynn S. and will update this response accordingly. At this point we have found no information to support the claims mentioned in the review. The vast majority of the hotel reviews are very positive so these comments are certainly the exception and not the rule. More

This hotel is a great value for the money. A spacious and quiet hotel. When we checked in we did not see any people. Never heard anyone inside the room. The continental breakfast was limited. Bagels, cereal, toast, danishs, and oranges. It was still good. The pool and jacuzzi were empty. It had a nice fitness center. The sauna and... More

So reasonably priced. Large rooms and lovely pool area. If you don't mind walking a mile into town, stay here! Nothing fancy but everything you need plus friendly staff! This is our second stay, and we will come back again.

The room is big, nice and spacious. Clean bed and towels. Floor needs vacuuming, I was sneezing all the time due to dust. There was hair too in the tub and sink didn't clean well. Breakfast acceptable.

Tile floors, spacious, clean first floor room with sliding glass doors opening to pool and hot tub, both good temperatures for outdoor facilities in December. Downside, a sparse carbonental breakfast buffet with no indoor tables and chairs. Definite bargain at $65 + tax.

The service was poor, the continental breakfast was horrible, the hallways and balcony were dirty. When I mentioned to the manager that the breakfast left something to be desired, his response was flip and uninterested in hearing feedback. We stayed at numerous hotels and motels during our trip from northern to southern california, and this was by far the worst.... More

We went there Nov 23-24, 2013. The hotel is on the Palm Canyon Strip on the Northern Side. A bit far from downtown if you walk leisurely about 10-20 mins and with driving around 5 mins.I booked using Hotel Tonight app on my phone and really get a great rate. We came around noon time but check in is around... More
