If you are just looking for a hotel to spend time at one of the two pools, then this is the place for you. The rooms haven't been updated since the 80's; no carpet; no amenities like shampoos except from a dispenser on the wall; terrible picture on the TV; smelled damp and moldy; had a table with only one... What can I say...you get what you pay for. I needed to be in Palm Springs on short notice and this motel had availability. It's definitely a budget motel feel with a slightly higher-than-average price point. My room was dingy and in need of repair (holes in wall, broken light switches, old bathroom fixtures, stained carpet), but it was definitely... More

Sometimes that isn't true, but it was in this case. Stayed there for 2 days for a softball tournament because a couple of other players were staying there and I was getting tired of the Caliente Tropics. I got the room for $67.50 +tax. The room was pretty big. A lot of room between one of the queen beds and... More

So it's peak season ad you don't want to spend hundreds of dollars for a weekend stay, then this is your place. We were in town with thousands of other riders participating in the Tour De Palm Springs. The Garden Vista was sold out but luckily we had made our reservations way in advance so the cost of our room... More

Friendly & accommodating front desk staff. Very large room with balcony, 2 chairs & a table. The rooms are dated but beds are comfortable. I checked hotel sites & the best rates are offered by the hotel either by phone or on their website. Large property with family & adult pools and 2 hot tubs. Coin laundry, exercise, sauna, steam... Rooms are large and clean Comfortable beds Room had microwave, sofa, table and chairs with access to garden. Negative - whilst well maintained the rooms are a throwback to the 80's - but for the price was good value. They have 2 pools and large gardens. U get free wifi and breakfast which I thought was fine given the room... More

My wife and I have been staying at this hotel (prior to the name change, it used to be called Shilo Inns) since the mid 2000s; she, since the 1980s. Prior to this weekend, it's always been clean and comfortable, albeit dated lodging. Check in was quick and easy; we asked that our friends stay two rooms away and the... More

Great curb appeal. Rooms are large, but outdated. Carpets and flooring old and dirty. Cabinets old fashioned. Shower was clean, but no individual toiletries - they had a Liquid Dispenser in the shower and the over the sink. The hair conditioner had an odd odor. Bed was comfortable, sliding glass door to the small balcony overlooking the adult pool. Grounds... More

Upon entering the room smelled like dirty pine sol. Bathroom was very worn and the entire room very run down. Only coffee for 1 cup and the beds are bouncy with stiff pillows. Towels are so old they no longer absorb. Breakfast is provided...what a hoot! Trying to toast a bagel and the girl behind the counter finally realized it... More
