Pros: Large rooms Very clean Seems safe (but see below) Good price (from Hotwire) Cons: No noise insulation from rooms next door and above. You hear everything, especially the pounding of people walking above Soft beds. Soap dispensers in shower and sink -- no bars. Poor "free" breakfast. And no inside tables to sit at. Poor or nonexistent service. I... More

No need to go into the petty annoyances as many already have in previous reviews. If you're looking for all that a solid 3* or 4* has to offer, stay elsewhere. This place is fine for the price point. My room was clean, very large and actually extended my stay 3 more days. It's in a decent location. I would... More

My husband and I stayed here in December. The location was good. We were pleased with the breakfast, as it did save us quite a bit of money. It would have been nice if it had fresh fruit or a hot item, but otherwise it was enough to get us going in the morning. The hot tub was working but... More

we stayed one night on our way home from Arizona, the hotel is ok, the lobby was nice. The rooms are large, the bed & pillows were comfortable. Not the cleanest place I've ever stayed, didn't want to look in cupboard under sink or at the ceiling. The pool looked nice, we did use the hot tub and it was... More

This is a nice hotel on the northern part of Palm Springs. The staff was very accommodating. As the reservations were for 5 nights we wanted a room with a view. Unfortunately none were available the first night so the view was of a wall. The next day we were able to move to another room with both a view... More

The hotel is located only a few miles to downtown. A good budget hotel for the amentities. Tried checking in at noon. I was told check in is at three. When inquired more, I was told they were full. The first room I was given, had a big crack in the wall, water stains on the ceiling, and a moderate... More

Third review, dropping one more star upon discovering that the hotel actually charged my account for the $100 they explained as an authorization for incidentals. I filed a complaint with the AG. I wonder what they did to the young women who paid it in cash. To re-cap: fitness room, steam and sauna out of order; pool dirty, hot tub... More

This former Shilo Inn still has carpet in the rooms, but it looks clean and the odd smell others complained about seems to be gone. At an average nightly rate of $75 it was a good value, but they need to work on their amenities and service. The continental breakfast was pretty bad: wheat bread (margarine, no butter) awful bagels,... More

The first room they gave us had a broken refrigerator and smelled. We moved to a second room,in that room one Telephone was missing and another one was broken, the Enamel in the tub was all cracked and broken (they had painted over part of it) the lights above the sink were crooked. We left and when we came back... More
