Huge clean rooms, new management is very attractive and extremely helpful and friendly. Perfectly located. Pool areas are very nice and clean, quiet and relaxing. Best place to stay for the money. Parking is free and plenty of spaces right outside of your rooms. Each room has a huge couch, a kitchenette with refrigerator and vanity and a seperate bath... More

New Management and Lot's of Improvements have made this get-away spot in Palm Springs even more attractive. Prices remain low as of our visit in September. The Adult Pool & Jacuzzi were working well and the grounds are well maintained. The free breakfast remains a nice feature.

I recently stayed here for 2 nights with my sister as we wanted to hike Mount San Jacinto. The weather was crazy hot 116 degrees, so the air-con in the room was a saviour and worked really well and wasn't noisy which was a bonus! The room itself was very clean and there was a fridge, microwave and coffee. The... More

this place is cheap, and you get what you pay for. the grounds are nice enough and its only 1 mile away from downtown palm springs, so its not a bad choice for those reasons. i felt like the place could have definitely been cleaner. in fact the first room we were given had an unmade bed. it's also a... My daughter and I stayed here for a long weekend. We use to stay here when it was a Shilo Inn Hotel. The pool was nice and cool...lovely grounds. Adult and child's pool. The room is spacious and has a small microwave, small refrigerator and the AC worked great. The breakfast was nice...bagels, pastries, oatmeal, coffee and juice. The staff... More

The lobby and staff were great. Weeds in the landscaping, trash in the room was still full from last guests, and bleach spills on the sheets kind of freaked me out. The room bordered the courtyard and the pool. The A/C made the room very comfortable. I couldn't beat the price and was happy to not be paying out the... More

We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel, especially since it had an adult pool. We found an offer for $47 on booking.com. There is no way you can beat that price in a city full of overpriced resorts. The rooms were spacious and clean. The breakfast was nothing special...fruit, cereal, and juice. We'd stay here again.

I was very surprised upon landing at Palm Springs and calling for the free airport shuttle, that "there is no free shuttle service provided by the hotel." This was contrary to what is listed clearly as one of the amenities on their website: thegardenvistahotel.com. So, after a $20 cab ride from the airport, I spoke to the front desk manager... More

Thank you for taking the time to send us your feedback and apologize for any inconvenience you may have experienced. We look forward to exceeding all of your expectations during your next... More

This was the third time in 4 years that we stayed at Garden Vista. So disappointed this year. The same old tired bedspreads that were there 4 years ago...when is the last time they were cleaned? Immediately, we took the bedspread off and threw it on the corner of the dirty couch. Floors were gritty with dirt. I have to... More

We found a last minute offer on booking.com for $42.99. For such an awesome location, no way in Hell can you beat this place, especially at that price. The rooms are large, clean and tidy. Sure its not a 4* pad as one may expect. However, at this price, we were super happy and have nothing poor to report!
