Hotel has a good entrance, a little tired in the rooms, ideal for a one night stop preferably. Don’t take advantage of the $15 discount on the breakfast buffet as there are plenty of good places elsewhere within the town. I really recommend Billy Reeds a short distance away ( Great breakfast ). more

1st night of 14 night tour - came to Palm Springs to avoid staying in LA. Staff were polite & helpful, room was good size, pleasant & comfortable. It was OK for the one night stop-over that we had there. Didn't have time to sample pool. Would recommend breakfast out at nearby diner - Billy Reed's. Aircon was noisy. more

I've stayed here several times over the years as a result of fantastic winning bids on Priceline and I've always been pleased with my stay. Like the previous reviewer, I don't understand the negative reviews. The pool is very large and relaxing with many lounge chairs to relax and enjoy the view of the mountains, palm trees and water. The... more

Booked through Hotels.com, was confirmed for two rooms with king size beds. On arrival received two rooms with double beds. The stench in the hallways and rooms was disgusting! As we were travelling with a one year-old, it was less than comfortable. will never stay there again. Would suggest a cleaning overhaul unless beer and vomit is acceptable to patrons. more

First let me say the lobby very nice , pool the same, But the problem starts as you walk to your room, so hot and stuffy. worst is that the rooms are the same, and now thanks to global warming, you cant even control the room temp. It was so hard to sleep with heat but the beds were worse... more

I am surprised that people have such a bad view of this hotel. Having just returned from touring California for two weeks I hink that this hotel was the best we stayed in. It was very clean, the rooms were gorgeous and the pool was to die for. It also was very quiet despite there being a dance convention on.... more

Reception staff could do with some 'people skills' training! The website boasts mountain or pool views from the bedrooms - we travelled with another couple and neither of our rooms were satisfactory. These had been booked in October 2007 so we asked at reception their policy on room allocation..... they didn't seem to know how this worked! After some time... more

As a WorldMark member getting a 20% discount I paid $119 for a "Mini-Suite". I wasn't expecting the 4 Seasons but I was disappointed in that I thought I was getting a nice resort room, when in fact it turned out to be something just below what you'd expect at a Best Western. When you drive into the "resort" it... more

I had a 2-night reservation for a stay at the Wyndham for a sold out salsa dance event. I was having car trouble, and could not immediately drive to Palm Springs. I made not less than 4 calls to the Wyndham reservations desk to let them know that I would be a late check in. They assured me that the... more

This was our 1st visit to Palm Springs. The Wyndham was recommended by friends who had stayed 2 years ago. First impressions were- great location, great lobby and very efficient and friendly reception staff made booking in easy. Unfortunately things went downhill from there. The lift was discusting - the walls and doors were very grubby and the carpet was... more
