Good budget hotel with a nice size pool and hot tub. Also had a small gym and washing facilities. Rooms were clean and well presented. Basic breakfast included but was adequate. It's a little off the main strip but you get value for money here.

Booked with group. Asked for adjoining pool side rooms...willing to pay more. Did not accommodate. Being at the pool every night we noticed ALL of those rooms were EMPTY. Complained daily of the idiot above us who stomped & slammed between 6-9 am. Then between 10-11pm. Our 2 rooms had a 1 yr & 3yr old. It just kept going.... More

We have been going here at Thanksgiving for 19 years. We get gound floor pool side rooms. This year there were 23 of us. The kids love it and now bring their kids. Serve yourself breakfast every morning where the kids can get thier own food and bring it out by the pool. Not the fanciest but has all you... More

On my way to spend Thanksgiving with family, I spent one night at the Royal Sun Inn. The hotel is convenient to downtown Palm Springs. I stayed in a first floor room near parking, as I had requested. The single room was comfortable with a queen-sized bed. There is free WiFi. One inconvenience was the fact that there was no... More

This hotel is located a couple of miles from the main street in Palm Springs. The rooms are in need of some updating. They got a pretty terrible coat of paint (paint outside the borders of the wall) a few years ago but it just looks awful. Our room also smelled of mildew. My husband appreciated the breakfast in the... More

We stayed 3 nights here (booked via Kayak) and for the price we paid, this was an outstanding deal. We paid more for a B&B nearby which had a cold swimming pool and this hotel had a (large) heated pool and a very nice warm jacuzzi. The rooms were spacious and clean and having a little private balcony to sit... More

We stayed here during a heatwave last October. Rooms were average, nice. There were a lot of bikers in town, some of them stayed here. We didn't hear them at all. Staff was great, gave good tips for trips and diners. We enjoyed eating at the recommended Italian cafe! Breakfast was average, but nice to eat it outside.

I stayed at the Royal Sun for two nights. My room was on the third floor, quiet and overlooking the pool. When I turned the TV on, it didn't have a signal. I called the front desk to report the problem, and the man said he and several other guests also had lost their signal. He called the cable company... More

We stayed here for one night on our road trip. The staff was very kind to us, seeing we had to call them for a broken fridge and after that for a bath tub plug that failed to work. We got moved to another room without any trouble. The other room seemed a bit more modern (as in the equipment... More
