Stayed at the royal sun inn for 3 nights. Check inn was fairly swift and the man at the front desk was very helpful. The rooms are quite tired and look like they have not been changed since the 80s, even when we turned the tv on which is in a old teak cabinet, the golden girls were on! The... more

It is a nice hotel for the price. The private balconies are nice. We stayed for two nights during the middle of the week. We were told by the front desk person, the hotel was booked full, but it wasn't. On Thursday when we were going to check out, I called the front desk to ask for a 1 hour... more

Booked this place with the Hotel web site directly for our four-night stay in Palm Springs. Check in was fine. Were given a large queen bedded well-equipped room. It had everything you could ask for - fridge, microwave, iron & ironing board etc. The swimming pool was warm and refreshing after a day of touring and we had no complaints... more

Ive been staying at this Motel for years, and i wouldnt stay anywhere else in Palm Springs. (Even with the poor dollar rate at present.) My experience with the staff is that they are polite and helpful. Last year my entire family block booked the whole set of the poolside rooms, fantastic. (I am not employed by the hotel and... more

We booked the motel through Venere.com and were rudely told upon arrival that our request for main floor was not to be honoured since the booking agent was only a 'middleman'. Although money had already changed hands, and we were given a key to the room, the clerk decided to evict us because we wanted to speak to the manager... more

We stayed at the Royal Sun Inn and absolutely loved it. It was exceptionally clean and the pool was an added bonus. The continental breakfasts were sufficent and we found the staff to be very friendly - especially the gentleman who arranged a tee time for my partner - he was very attentive and always asked how we were, unfortunately... more

The pool was salty, hot and dirty….. But not to mention the staff that work there the manager especially is rude and very arrogant…. I booked a room for a family member of mine under my name and called to confirm that he will be the guest and the manager advised that would not be a problem….NOW I have a... more

Absolutely the worst!!! I am still waiting for them to release a 600.00 hold on my debit card. The jacuzzi had caution tape around it, the pool was small, hot, and salty. The breakfast was located in a room with towels all over the floor, and bright orange caution signs, green bananas cut in half, sat along side some cut... more

The inn was incredible regardless of the rate I got it at (U$40/night). The inn was definitely equivalent to U$80 value at least. The location is a less than 10 mins drive to downtown core and about a 10 mins drive to the Smoke Tree Ranch where you can horseback ride. Clean, spacious, and the customer service was great. The... more
