Tired of properties marketing themselves as a "boutique property" when they have wall to wall carpeting and crooked Ikea artwork? This is not one of those places. Management have pretty much nailed the boutique hotel vibe. We stayed in casita #1. Simple, Spanish style with modern bathroom. The only suggestion I have is to update the bathroom lighting. A gorgeous,... More

When you need to have some romance in your vacation, this is the hotel to stay at...even if you are traveling solo. [Quel dommage!] Location is perfect, within walking distance of downtown & architectural neighborhoods. However, if you really don't want to leave your hotel, there's plenty to keep you here. By day, you can lounge around the pool listening... More

We stayed at Colony Palms with a large group of family and friends for a wedding weekend. It felt like we were staying at a large hacienda with the best service and food. The pool is at the center and a focal point, surrounded by the Purple Palm Restaurant, open and hidden gardens with assorted statues, firepits, fountains, and blooming... More

We just spent three nights here and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. It was very quiet hotel and very centrally located especially if you dont have a rental car. Although we had booked a king room, and the first night they only had a room with two Queen beds avaialble which was a little disspoinating. That room (#22) also had some funky... More

We stayed here with some friends for a long weekend at the end of the summer. Surprisingly, it wasn't too hot. The hotel was full and the pool was packed everyday, but all 4 of us managed to find chairs together both days. The service by the pool was great and dinner at Purple Palm was fantastic. Breakfast at Cheeky's... More

This was the first time we'd got out of town since March, and it was for my birthday, so we expected something really special. It was alright. The hotel itself is in a perfect location for a first visit to Palm Springs: right in the downtown area. Walk to Copley's for dinner and Cheeky's for breakfast. Yum! Biggest problem (we... More

The hotel is located in what I consider a main road but not a busy street which is always good. The staff was very accomodating and friendly. We rented a casita which is just the right size, has added privacy and large private patio that includes a two-person hot tub, oversized outdoor lounge bed, and umbrella. The room bed is... More

This is the second year in a row we've come back to this hotel for our wedding anniversary weekend. We love the fact that even at full capacity, this hotel is still quiet as it's really small. It feels quite luxurious, the staff are very friendly and there's a great atmosphere. The restaurant, The Purple Palm, is excellent. They do... More

For a friends wedding we had the entire hotel booked with friends and family. The hotel is an elegant yet informal desert modern. All the rooms intimately border in the pool which, along with the bar, is the center attraction. Highly recommended
