I took my family for a family vacation in California. My husband and I were there few weeks ago. Now - it was family time. Our first stop was at this charming hotel: nice garden, where people played fun games, or just enjoyed strolling. The main attraction is the swimming pool, where everything is around it. We started the morning,... More

What a gorgeous little find! A total surprise at the quaintness of the hotel. It was truly a very relaxing setting. Butterflies and hummingbirds gracing the oasis! The pool was salt water treated which was wonderful. The staff were not intrusive and yet provided prompt pool side service when food or drinks were required! I loved my bedroom and bathroom.... I've never been to Palm Springs before and wanted to find a luxury hotel close to all the action. All said, I really enjoyed my time at this cozy, boutique, garden-style hotel in the heart of vintage Palm Springs. The Room I had a small bedroom with a king size bed on the first floor, room #15. I was really... More

My wife and I just returned from a weekend at CPH for her cousin's wedding. What a great hotel. The pool is like a secluded paradise and the service truly makes you feel important. Marlene was the bartender and server throughout the weekend. Somehow, she managed to remember everyone's name she helped. This was truly above and beyond, and was... More

The hotel has a great location in Palm Springs, at the edge of the valley right up against the mountains - every view has lush greenery in the foreground and those stark, dramatic mountains just behind. The rooms and public spaces have a vaguely 1930's look - chic and minimal, with Moroccan design touches. Our room had a working fireplace,... More

We browsed the internet intensely trying to figure out which of the "top 3" hotels in our list should be our weekend gateway escape and we ended up choosing the Colony casita. While in Palm Springs we checked out the rest and felt good about our choice and here is why: - the Colony is the most intimate; the smallest... More

Perfect hideaway for couples! Sophisticated hotel with classy Moroccan accents. The pool/jacuzzi is open 24 hours. Excellent for night swimming and star gazing. Stayed in a Superior King room. Very comfy beds. Huge bathrooms with very nice toiletries including toothpaste. Nice touch. Everyone who works at the hotel was incredibly nice and helpful. Location is perfect, right in downtown Palm... More

Checked in midweek with the pleasant Rebecca and Angela at the front desk and walked the meandering, beautifully landscaped path to room 20, our hideaway for the night. The room was charming with a king size bed, a corner fireplace and a beautiful view of the gardens and mountains out of the corner floor to ceiling windows. On the desk... More

Loved it from the moment we arrived! A superb, classy boutique hotel with a glamorous understated ambiance. Location – a 10 minute ($15) cab ride from the airport and a two minute walk to the main strip. It is on the street behind the main drag in a quiet location. Service - top notch! friendly, comfortable and efficient with every... More

The hotel is very small and everything feels crowded very quickly. Space around the pool is limited and beds positioned directly at the edge of the pool. Number of beds is limited and they are exactly side by side allowing not privacy at all. If you get a room in the back at ground floor you will find a high... More
