Pros - positively ice-cold air conditioning - music is piped from whimsical papier-mâché rocks in garden area - spacious bathrooms - free morning coffee poolside - delightful Mediterranean flair, if one is fed up with mid-century-modern Palm Springs - agreeable landscaping - comfy lounge areas Cons - murky pool - completely disinterested, inconvenienced-by-guests, non-smiling, unfriendly staff - semi-loud drunken guests... A small hotel situated about 15 minutes stroll from the centre of Palm Springs. The hotel is built like cloisters around a central garden with a swimming pool in the middle. Parking is free. The rooms are good sized, clean, with efficient air-conditioning, and the beds comfortable. Good choice of breakfast, eaten by the pool, but not included in room... More

This place is absolutely charming and beautiful. You can walk downtown from the hotel. There is so many restaurants and shops within. The rooms are very cool. Definitely recommend if you are going to be in Palm Springs.

Stylish, charming, and isolated. You'd overlook this hotel if you weren't searching for it. A little trendy place for the bohemian types, you feel isolated when you get there and yet, it's just a short walk from downtown. There's a decent size pool but may feel crowded if all the guest were using it. The restaurant on the property is... More

Have come here many times and love the property and the staff. This has been a great place to unwind and relax but it has been found by the younger privileged LA crowd screaming on their phones and the parents of screaming children that should understand this is not a child's pool or property to let them run wild.... But... More

Just loved this hotel. Beautiful rooms with an Andalusian feel. Moroccan tiles on the floor, spanish style upholstered bed head and colonial feel. The rooms are clean and peaceful. They are quiet with super comfortable king size beds and crisp white linens. The mini bar has a great selection of mid sized bottles. But the pool side bar and restaurant... More

I am currently a guest staying at the Colony Palms as I have many times over the last four years and this is just another perfect vacation in a long string of great ones. An old mobsters hideout turned boutique hotel, they've done a wonderful job of keeping with the history of the estate and the surrounding area while making... More

Great place to escape the city and unwind poolside. Rooms are very comfortable and clean. Small hotel so not very much traffic which is nice for a relaxing getaway. The hot tub was open late which allowed us to enjoy the poolside into the night.

I made the reservation at this hotel for 4/19 for 1 day, checking out on 4/20. They charged me for 2 nights - an additional $560.25. I gave them proof that I made the reservation for 1 night, but they would not issue me a refund. Initially, the supervisor, Melissa told me that they would be issuing a refund and... More

The food was good and the pool area looked inviting with many comfortable lounge chairs to enjoy the sun.Only adventurous germans and european girls in general went for a swim.I t was rather cold but the sky was deep blue. The food was good but the service was not up to par.Luckily there where no noisy families at this time. since...
