We stayed at Colony Palms with a large group of family and friends for a wedding weekend. It felt like we were staying at a large hacienda with the best service and food. The pool is at the center and a focal point, surrounded by the Purple Palm Restaurant, open and hidden gardens with assorted statues, firepits, fountains, and blooming... more

We just spent three nights here and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. It was very quiet hotel and very centrally located especially if you dont have a rental car. Although we had booked a king room, and the first night they only had a room with two Queen beds avaialble which was a little disspoinating. That room (#22) also had some funky... more

We stayed here with some friends for a long weekend at the end of the summer. Surprisingly, it wasn't too hot. The hotel was full and the pool was packed everyday, but all 4 of us managed to find chairs together both days. The service by the pool was great and dinner at Purple Palm was fantastic. Breakfast at Cheeky's... more

This was the first time we'd got out of town since March, and it was for my birthday, so we expected something really special. It was alright. The hotel itself is in a perfect location for a first visit to Palm Springs: right in the downtown area. Walk to Copley's for dinner and Cheeky's for breakfast. Yum! Biggest problem (we... more

Do not get married here. You may have great pictures, but that's about it. I'll give a brief, generalized summary of the really bad experiences I had getting married at this hotel: The customer service is so appalling. I spent 6 hours going over my final bill with the managers there because it was literally 3X what it should have... more

Thank you for your feedback – guest opinions always give us the opportunity to improve. While we have tried to reach out to you on numerous occasions to discuss these issues, we have not been able to get anyone to return our call, which is unfortunate as all of these issues are easily resolvable and explainable. We work hard to...

The hotel is located in what I consider a main road but not a busy street which is always good. The staff was very accomodating and friendly. We rented a casita which is just the right size, has added privacy and large private patio that includes a two-person hot tub, oversized outdoor lounge bed, and umbrella. The room bed is... more

This is the second year in a row we've come back to this hotel for our wedding anniversary weekend. We love the fact that even at full capacity, this hotel is still quiet as it's really small. It feels quite luxurious, the staff are very friendly and there's a great atmosphere. The restaurant, The Purple Palm, is excellent. They do... more

For a friends wedding we had the entire hotel booked with friends and family. The hotel is an elegant yet informal desert modern. All the rooms intimately border in the pool which, along with the bar, is the center attraction. Highly recommended more

I just called to cancel my room at the Colony Palms Hotel, 48 hours prior to arrival. I was first hung up on by the young girl who answered the phone. I then called back and was told that I will be charged my full amount since I did not cancel 72 hours prior. The same girl who hung up... more
