Had such a positive experience from pulling up at Valet to check out. All of the staff was very kind and accommodating. The room was clean and comfortable. I enjoyed the vintage feel but did not feel out of date. The view when I opened my door in the morning was gorgeous. Exactly what I expected when I booked a... More

this was my second stay at this property and it was not as impressive as the first time. the room is always as nice, clean and nicely decorated but this time we were on the ground level (room 7) which was noisier than the room on the 2nd floor. especially with the play area next to our building. the door... This is a beautiful small boutique hotel a few blocks from the edge of Downtown Palm Springs with private courtyards and large plants. Its quite expensive given the facilities and double the price for the weekends. Being 2 hours from LA, its frequented by wealthy incognito guests. There are lots of great restaurants to choose from and shops to walk... More

This place is a great option if you are coming to Palm Springs to simply enjoy sunshine and quiet, along with a great restaurant. You really don't need to leave the grounds. But if you want to explore downtown Palm Springs, the main tourist area is only a block away. The restaurant is top-notch and the abundance of local plant... More

My wife and I spent a couple of days here as part of a destination wedding trip with friends and we absolutely fell in love with it and can't wait to return. The decor is spot on, the layout of the rooms were spacious and comfortable. The front desk was very friendly and professional, they were even nice enough to... More

We love the old world charm of this place. It's updated enough so it's not run down like the viceroy, but not overly done over or updated like some of the retro creations in town ... Excellent and relaxing stay en route to LA. Starry night view from the jacuzzi and great breakfast will bring us back.

I would have given the Palms 5 stars but for some minor complaints.. none of which diminished our experience at the hotel. First the gripes.. the beds were ok.. much better than the average but did not meet the five star level.. a bit on the hard side. The also have the big pillows that seem the be the norm... More

Don't be deceived by Palm Springs' reputation as a retirement town. There's a thriving energy about the town that warms up even the coldest winter. I stayed in Colony Palms during December while on business and loved it. The days were very warm and the Colony is a nice amble to the local restaurants and shops. The nights and early... More

The Colony Palms is an ideal hotel for a romantic getaway in Palm Springs. It is a Hacienda-style hotel with fewer rooms than most, within walking distance of much of the shopping and food in Palm Springs and close enough to drive to some of the great hikes, golf, or home design tours. The rooms are nicely decorated, some with... More

We were in the desert one night and booked a room here. After checking in after dinner we enjoyed the warm desert night in the jacuzzi and lounged under the stars until nearly midnight. It was so peaceful and enjoyable I forgot we were in the middle of downtown. The room, standard king, was large with a top shelf bar... More
