I was at the Colony Palms in September and it was super hot out. There was not enough shaded loungers at the pool to go around and there were no extra unbrellas. You had to wake up very early if you wanted a lounger in the shade. The pool is beautiful though, great temperature. The Purple Palm is nice, right... More

We stayed for a few days in January. Good location (you can walk to the main part of the downtown shopping/restaurant area) and superb staff -- attentive but not excessively so. The rooms were well-appointed and comfortable. The pool and sitting area around it were pleasant. Bonus was the breakfast by the pool -- very good at a relatively (to... More

The Colony Palms is a beautiful little hideaway. I recommend splurging on one of the casitas if you can swing it. The outdoor living room is awesome. Great staff, quiet and beautiful property. Our meals were good (not GREAT but good) and the bartender pours some generous cocktails! Overall, a really nice property in a town with lots of competition... More

We stayed at this hotel for two nights during our three-week roundtrip at the west coast. This hotel was amazing.....especially the pool/Jacuzzi and the outdoor area in general. Actually the best hotel during the complete journey. The room and the spacious bath room was very comfortable. A nice plus - free coffee at the bar close to the pool. We... More

W've stayed at a lot of hotels in Palm Springs and this is definitely one of the best. Beautiful, intimate Morroccan-inspired environment. Nice pool and not too much of a scene. Pretty room with awesome C.O. Bigelow bath products- the best and straight from NYC! Great restaurant and we loved that it was right on the pool. A few fire... More

Our stay was nothing short of perfect at the Colony Palms. We loved the Hotel grounds, the atmosphere was relaxing. The staff were helpful. Our room was a king size room with a shower only, it was along side of the hotel, behind the striped pool cabanas, but it was quite. We also travel with a white noise machine "just... More

I stayed with my mother and 2 kids for one night. The decoration of the hotel is great, rooms are beautiful, the pool area is very nice. My only complaint is that breakfast is served in very small plates so food does not fit in! Mountain views from the patio are great. More

The Colony Palms gets a lot of media coverage in glossy travel mags, but after spending three nights there, we left a little disappointed. The Purple Palms restaurant has great food and service, so that's a big plus, but we were disappointed with the lodging piece. The first night I had to wear my Bose noise-reducing earphones due to the... More

This was our first trip to Palm Springs so I wasn't quite sure what to expect. I know how rowdy some of the hotels in the area can be, and this wasn't it, thank goodness. The property was beautiful, lots of lush foliage and rooms that feel tucked away. Tons of old charm and sweet details - rocking chairs, cabanas,... More
