You can see that a few years back this would have been a really cutting edge hotel that would have deserved its place in Conde Naste and Wallpaper. We've stayed here several times and have had nothing but lovely experiences. Gracious service, very comfortable rooms, and the food is so good we choose to dine there for nearly every meal. the overall culture and mood of the Viceroy changes dramatically on Friday afternoon and through the weekend. I stay here at least 4 times a year, I have always enjoyed great customer service and attention to detail. The Viceroy is NOT the place to go if you need your grapes peeled or to be fanned by the pool, it is the place to go for interesting food choices, pleasant staff and an unbelievable view of the mountains.... more
