The hotel was very nice and modern, which was important to my 13 yr old daughter. The pool was wonderful as well which is key given the heat. The only two downsides were the room service that was late and the maid service which didn't completely tidy the room (no towels and glasses one day). And the air conditioning which... More

We stayed 3 nights over spring break. The hotel was lovely. After a short mix up getting our room (they gave us the wrong room type twice) they upgraded us to a jr suite at no extra cost. The pool was fun; a few more very young children than I would have preferred but nice over all. The rooms and... More

We stayed during Coachella and it served its purpose - shuttles picked us up to go to the festival, the rooms were spacious so we could comfortably fit 3 of us in a one bedroom/living room accommodation, the pool was pretty fun with people mostly our age (25-40). As a hotel, as a whole, however, it didn't impress me much.... More

Stayed for six nights in building 5 in April 2014. The hallways were extremely dirty and were not vacuumed all week. the carpet had spilled food that had not been wiped up in two locations. on the third floor vending area there is an open drain in the floor and the tile is coming off the floor. In the room... More

I've never personally reviewed a hotel before, but since I've been up since dawn's light for the second day in a row here, I've managed to find the time. The hotel is pretty. The lobby is large and impossibly hip. The rooms are a good size and furnished in an attractive Hollywood Regency style. The pools are heated. But that's... More

It's certainly disarming to hear of your dissatisfaction with this visit, as we strive to afford each of our guests with a myriad of relaxing amenities, along with a peaceful and well-appointed room to return to when a day's explorations of our resort are through. Clearly this wasn't the case in this instance, and we apologize for that. We also... More

We arrived on a Sunday night. Check in was smooth not very busy due to the arrival time. Breakfast in the morning at Circa 59 was good. Happy Hour at the Sidebar was good. Try the appetizer beef wrapped in dates with Blue Cheese dip. We enjoyed the pool area during the day. We ate off property enjoying the great... More

We had a wonderful experience at The Riviera. We booked a two-queen room that had a view of the Chiki pool. The room was comfortable, clean and sized well for two people. The beds were not as comfortable as home, but we slept well. Our room did not have a deck, which we will request next time. We mostly stayed... More

I confess that we booked the Riviera somewhat reluctantly when our top Palm Springs choices weren't available. Negative reviews had us a bit worried and we braced ourselves for mediocrity. We ended up being delighted with nearly every facet of the hotel, and were sad to leave at the end of the weekend. A few comments: The Room: We heeded... More

We stayed in a junior suite with mountain view and loved it. Restaurant was pricey but delicious, and pool area was nice and uncrowded midweek. We will definitely return and it is our go to spot in Palm Springs from now on.

Impressed with interior designs, hospitable associates, live music next to pool with fire pits is amazing. Poor front desk attention to our room location regarding near parking lots. Had to walk from building 5 to the front to pick up my car with vallet. Other than that I might recommend to my friends.
