Our stay at the Riviera Resort and Spa was a complete disaster. There were numerous "issues" with our room (bugs in the bathroom; no wash clothes available in the hotel; bathtub would not drain; lightbulb missing from the lamp) but the biggest issue was the BLOOD STAINED SHEETS we discovered when we crawled into bed. We were completely grossed out... more

Love some of the remodeling like the lobby, restauants, outer areas but as previous reviewers have mentioned, the hallways leave a lot to be desired - someone went a little crazy with the prints. The rooms look great although they are old but updated. Bed was comfortable, etc. If I had to point to the negative with this hotel it... more

I just stayed at this hotel over the 4th of July weekend, so it is probably not completely fair to rate this hotel off of one of it's busiest times of the year! The hotel is beautiful and well worth the price (we paid all up $115 a night), the decor in the main part of the hotel is beautiful,... more

One needs to be aware of very steep hotel fees, on top of typical taxes included for overnight stay. Fees are above $50.00 / night. Besides that, housekeeping services on a call basis only it seemed. Leak from air conditioner, for our room, and our friends room as well.... Our room smelled like an old mildew sock...not romantic to say... more

Decor was very good, especially the lobby. Really beautiful choices. Like I read on other reviews, they pushed the $30/night upgrade, at check-in, for a "suite". We bit, and the suite was very nice and spacious - living room semi-walled off from the bedroom - but the view, as for most rooms in our building, was of the dumpsters in... more

Ok so the decorator who spent the bazillion dollars to renovate this place had a great sense of humor. The carpet and wall paper in building 5 ( on the Oklahoma border) made me sick to my stomach as we tried for about 15 minutes to find our room. The decor in the rooms is new I guess but hell... more

So we arrived at the hotel late on Friday night at around 2 am. Check in was relatively simple in a beautiful lobby area and we proceeded onto our room. Nice room, great spacious bathroom, not much closet space, but impressed nevertheless. After unpacking we turned over the bedclothes to climb into bed, only to discover that the bedsheets were... more

I traveled to the Riviera with a girlfriend from L.A. over Memorial Day. We had a great rate, and she, who frequents P.S., suggested we try it out. The facility is enormous, clean, and has fun, albeit sanitized, decor. The front desk staff and the bell hops were fantastic and provided very very good service. We enjoyed our stay at... more

My husband and I stayed at the Riviera on May. We first arrived early and checked in with no problem. The resort has a beautiful lobby and enterance. The bellman CHRIS was awesome. So friendly and helpful. We got to our room and it was overlooking the parking lot, and I told reservations to make sure I didn't have a... more

This really is the place to be in Palm Springs. Our stay during the Memorial Day Weekend, the whole hotel was a party! Every part of the hotel from the pool area to the lobby area was packed with people. If you want to stay where it's quiet then don't come here. It gets pretty noisy with the loud music... more
