Great choice for a very good price. We stayed here one night during our road trip. The hotel has been renovated recently. It has very clean and spacious rooms with working wifi. Also a nice pool to cool off during the hot days (112 during our stay!). Friendly staff at front desk with coffee, lemonade and cookies available :). We... More

Great review Rein. Thank you. Hope your road trip was fun. You are correct that the entire hotel had a recent renovation. We refer to our hotel as “style on a budget”. Yeah, Palm Springs is hot in the summer, so glad you got to cool off in our pool and cool off in the AC in your room. We... More

I bought the Living Social coupon, and it was well worth it. The rooms were quiet, I heard no outside noise, wifi worked, great free breakfast across the street, nice pool, etc. No this isn't a luxury adult only hotel, but you also don't have insane "resort" fees. My friends were staying at Colony Palms for about 4 times the... More

Having just driven through the Mojave in 115 degree heat, I was in desperate need of full immersion in a cool pool. Not wanting to spend too much for a one night stop, I found good reviews and a good deal on for The Monroe on Booking.com and hoped for the best. It began with a thoughtful message from the... More

Tracy, We are glad you got to cool off in our pool. Our designers want to keep up with the latest trends, so we were also happy to hear that you thought our hotel was chic! Style on a budget is what we like to call our hotel. We will take your suggestion of some sort of thin curtain for... More

The hotel was nice, clean, nice staff. I think we would have had a nicer stay if our room was in a different location. It was very noisy, bed was comfortable. There continental breakfast was great! The hotel very close to the Palm Springs Tram. It was a stay one night onto our destination.

Az Girl, We appreciate your review and tips. We are glad you found everything to be great. Generally the room near the laundry is quiet, especially in the evening. Although rare, we take noise issues seriously. We hope you come back and we will make every available effort to make sure that you have a quiet room. Steve, Public Relations... More

My boyfriend and i stayed for a night with another couple. The guy at the front was very nice and really helpful. The room was clean, the A/C worked great, the beds were comfortable (the pillows are GREAT), the bathroom was clean and the T.V was nice. The view we had from our room was really nice. We were over... More

Very simple place, what I was looking for, since I knew I would be spending all my time outdoors, in the magnificent Joshua Tree National Park. Friendly staff, clean and spacious room, with refrigerator... a nice feature in a hot climate locale. Very close to downtown. Excellent free breakfast at Rick's, on the other side of the street, an iconic... More

Room was clean and updated, Staff was very friendly. Free popsicles and Drinks at the pool. Its Not the most Flashy of places but definitely value for your dollar and Zero Complaints! The other guests were friendly and had a great time mingling with people at the pool.

My family and I stayed at The Monroe from Thursday to Sunday in June. We went for a memorial, so we were visiting family in Desert Hot Springs and surrounding areas and needed a n affordable hotel. The Monroe is located in a quiet area of Palm Springs, and it is conveniently close to the highway. It was very clean... More

Hi Hanna, Hi Hanna, We appreciate your comments. We are reviewing the few things you were unhappy about and will look into making some changes. Many people do walk to downtown because it is close, but for those without a car who do not wish to walk, there is a convenient bus that runs along Palm Canyon Drive, which we... More

We had the pleasure of staying in Room 130, a large corner suite with enough space to host a small party. The room was designed to look and feel like a boutique hotel and it was the perfect place for the price for two nights in Palm Springs.
