The Willows is a historical walk back in time. It is a fabulous place to stay and very romantic. Located in the heart of Palm Springs and next door to one of our best French restaurants. Albert Einstein stayed here and Marian Davies (Hearst's girlfriend) bought it in 1953, but sold it in 1955. She had cancer of the jaw.... More

I treated my wife (and myself) to a night's stay at The Willows for her birthday. We live in Palm Springs, five minutes away from this blissful retreat nestled in the San Jacinto foothills behind the city's impressive art museum. Marion Davies once lived in this lovely, inviting Spanish revival mansion, which retains much of its original charm. Passing through... More

Spent two days here earlier this week and couldn't have been more pleased. Yes it's a bit on the pricey side but if you want personal attention and not cookie cutter style accom then you have to pay for it. It's a small quiet haven only 2 blocks from the hustle and bustle of the main street of Palm Springs... More

Outstanding. Elegant, charming, stately. Fabulous location. Service great. Wonderful attention to detail. Beds were extremely comfortable. As expected, they were very helpful with reservations, directions, recommendations, etc. Stayed in the rock room. A little noise from the room above, but minor nuisance at most. Hope to sty again!

My wife and I had not been to Palm Springs for 20 years. She was working at a conference in Palm Desert, but we wanted to spend time in old Palm Springs. The Willows was a fabulous experience. The service was awesome. The breakfast was amazing. The setting spectacular. The location was in walking distance to everything we wanted to... More

The pluses: really comfortable rooms, secluded yet close to town, great amenities. Budget a full day's calories for the breakfast alone. Our air conditioning malfunctioned and the room was stifling the second day/evening. A repairman was onsite the previous day because apparently another room was having similar problems. Although I asked to speak with the manager about adjusting the bill,... More

We have been staying at the Willows for 14 years and always have a great experience. The management staff is the same and Gordon is truly a wealth of knowledge about the history of the Inn and the area. We come to charge our batteries and always leave refreshed and a little sad to have to leave. We suggest a... More

Elegant, sophisticated and full of character. The Willows is a one of a kind property that just makes you feel special. We stayed in the Acanthus Room-- one of the smallest rooms, but very cozy. The bed was no doubt the most comfortable hotel bed I've ever slept in. High end toiletries and linens were the perfect touch. The living... More

The Willows is a very special place in the heart of Palm Springs yet whisper quiet and private with a glorious outlook over the mountains. The word "Inn" does not do it justice. Our Library room was so atmospheric with fireplace, wood panelled ceiling and private courtyard. The breakfast room was a delight as were the homemade breakfasts and staff... More

We have been to the Willows many times. For this stay, we tried the Einstsein room- Not our favorite, but no complaints.I would have liked more light and a full length mirror. The private patio was lovely. There were 2 chaise lounges and towels-very comfortable and private. As always, we met interesting people and enjoyed the breakfasts and hors d'oevres.... More
