I can hardly wait until 6/1-6/2/12, we are returning to the quiet, quaint, quintesential Villa Rosa Inn in Palm Springs. I dream daily of the view (of the local mountains), the Hummingbirds, the free breakfast, talking with (owner) Jay and petting his adorable dog (Toby). Is it June Yet? More

First clue, Jay’s communication was non-existent until the day we were to arrive, when he finally sent our confirmation. Upon arrival at around 11PM it was approx. 40 degrees outside and the door and most of the windows in our room (Villa Suite 1) were open making it very chilly! At first glance, the room was much older and not... More

Jay is a charming host and can't do enough for you -- croissants and pastries with coffee and juice in the morning, chocolate chip cookies delivered to your room in the evening. Cute dog Toby adds to the overall environment Nice touches and plantings, the hummingbirds can't get enough of it. The pool is a warm 88 degrees. Villa Rosa... More

I chose this hotel (late October) mainly because of what others had written, and I wasn't misled. It was great: clean, quiet, quirky, with my biggest stress being avoiding the fly zone of those pesky hummingbirds! I didn't do anything but read, sleep, laze about and go for a daily run. As another reviewer stated, The Villa isn't brand new,... More

My husband and I have stayed at Villa Rosa Inn a number of times over the last couple of years in 3 different rooms/suites. It's a charmer. We love the location on a quiet street an easy drive from downtown Palm Springs. The prices are right. The courtyard area could not be any more comfortable and peaceful, and they keep... More

My wife and I spent last weekend here and were delighted to find it. It is so peaceful and so nice and comfortable. We arrived a bit early and gave Jay (property owner) a call about 45 minutes out to see if we could check in before our actual check in, which he graciously said yes . We had a... More

Located on a quiet side street yet close to "town" the Villa Rosa was my favorite in Palm Springs. We arrived to humingbirds hovering over the pool and soft mellow music playing in the courtyard while colorful beach balls drifted around the Pool. A very easy going place, love the charm, the french doors, the colors. Jay a gracious host... More

This past weekend, my wife and I decided, on a whim, to drive out to Palm Springs. We left from work Saturday morning, intending only to rent a room for the day so that we could sit around the pool. When we arrived in Palm Springs we stopped for lunch and drinks at Hamburger Mary's,(fun place!) and started calling around... More

We were looking for a quiet and quaint boutique hotel to stay in during a recent getaway to Palm Springs. Villa Rosa Inn fit the bill. We stayed in one of the suites. Our rooms were very comfortably furnished, the king bed was comfy. The towels were plentiful and the Inn definitely has a 1940's vintage charm. Owner Jay fixed... More

As Palm Springs sizzled in the summer heat this B & B was the perfect place to relax and unwind. We were even luckier than most as we had the whole place to ourselves for 3 days! Thank you Jay for all your help and hospitality, we loved having breakfast by the pool with the humming birds flying round us... More
