This hotel needs a face lift. The rooms were old, dark and depressing. The bed was also somewhat broken down and the sheets should have been retired long ago. It is too bad because this hotel has so much potential. I can't understand the ratings; we were on the lower level so maybe the rooms on the second floor were... more

We spent a restful week in a beautifully maintained suite with lots of very comfortable, extra features. Great service, knowledgable and helpful staff that provided a perfect ambiance for a quiet relaxed holiday. Close to gallieries, restaurants, and other attractions --no question about returning soon. more

I simply love staying in this inn. The rooms are sooo wonderful and the toilet is really huge... almost the size of my bedroom at home. The decor is lovely and the view from my room ( I was staying on the 2nd level and got the corner room) is beautiful... A simple breakfast is provided and you can actually... more

Nice little hotel with a very nice pool. Rooms are a good size but very dark. Front desk people were extremely helpful and friendly. It was in a good location and I guess it was a good value for that area. Breakfast was very sparse. It appeared that there was a very popular restaurant on the street in front of... more

The Pepper Tree is pleasant enough, but over-rated. Our reservation was for a deluxe king room with mountain view. We were shown to a dark and drearily small space with a bed, TV, fireplace, but no place to sit other than the bed or a hard chair. There was a patio, but in December, this was not really where we... more

Our 2nd trip to Palm Springs and opted for the pepper tree mainly based on reviews we read on here. Pretty much lived up to expectations-decent enough location, it is 10-15mins walk to main downtown area. Liked the spacious pool area and plenty loungers, some days we had the pool area to ourselves. The poolside king room we stayed in... more

We just returned from a five day stay at the Pepper Tree Inn. We found that the room and hotel lived up to the stellar reviews on trip advisor. In particular, we found the location, service and cleanliness of utmost quality. Also, we were pleasantly surprised to find a continental breakfast provided by the hotel. We were torn between this... more

In all honesty I cannot see how this hotel can be rated no #6 out of 66. Now, I’m not one of those fussy stuck up travellers. I will try and make the best out of any situation but this place let me so disappoined. Having holidayed in Palm Spring a number of times now I have been lucky enough... more

After reading all the rave reviews, I decided on the Pepper Tree. Good location, just north of main PS strip and within walking distance of shops/restaurants.Small inn which makes it intimate ; felt very private especially the pool area Continental breakfast is typical. Nice views of the mountains. Very quiet area. more
