Dogs- Design - Dishes - Devine Destination We have been wanting to stay at the hotel for years. We finally booked a stay in September 2014. Just loved it. Number 1: they are super dog friendly. We love traveling with our pets and its rare for a hotel to be so welcoming to the fur kids. Their brochure even says... More

I had the opportunity to spend four days at the alcazar in early November 2014 in a deluxe poolside room. The rooms are designed and fitted out in a white clean pomo vibe with lots of room. A mini fridge is great for storing some extra beer or fruit. the staff are all extremely friendly and accommodating. Ate at the... More

Our son was married in Palm Springs this past weekend and many of the invited guests stayed at The Alcazar (we took over the hotel for the weekend). The Alcazar is a small boutique hotel located in the center of Palm Springs with fabulous views of the mountains. Each room is different, but all were quite comfortable. The Alcazar is... More

This is a lovely, stylish boutique hotel which is centrally located in Palm Springs, yet is quiet and very manageable. Friendly, helpful staff, comfortable room (albeit very white), pretty pool and lots of restaurants in walking distance. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

We stayed at the Alcazar for a wedding. The most memorable part of the hotel was that the rooms were painted so blindingly white that it was very off-putting (others attending the wedding had the same thoughts). The location is central and there are many walkable places to eat, including Cheeky's. I don't know if other rooms had this problem... More

This boutique hotel has the feel of a Spanish Hacienda. Lovely and light fresh rooms close to pool and a delight in the desert. The hotel is well positioned for restaurants, the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway is only a couple of miles north and the Internet speed is amazing all around the hotel. Would stay here again next time I... More

Absolutely loved our one night stay at Alcazar - wished we'd been staying for longer. We received a very warm welcome from the receptionist and plenty of help and recommendations on where to have supper and also a fab recommendation for breakfast. The pool area is pretty, clean and plenty of places to sit and relax. The rooms are lovely... More

After reading all the reviews, we thought 3 nights here would be a great end to a long road trip. got there at about 9 at night and friendly enough check in. Got to the room, number 24 and lovely and bright but a little disappointed in general. Quilt Cover had some blood on it,( changed after informing reception )... More

We have been used to staying in places that have kitchens and more mid century modern feel. I was drawn to Alcazar for its location downtown.. I thought we may have some noise issues or the hotel dated even though it went through an extensive remodel prior to opening. Our room was perfect- comfortable bed, clean bathrooms, roomy, gas fireplace,... More

My friends were visiting from out of town, and we wanted a quiet but central location with a view. Alcazar was perfect! We loved the breakfast goodies ( from adjacent Cheeky's restaurant,) the courtesy bicycles, the quiet pool, and the lovely view. Rooms were very modern (all white) but comfortable. We will be back.
