The Alcazar is a great hotel. It's in a great location. The rooms are large and spacious. We were in the ADA room (room 31) and it was very nice (I can't speak for the other rooms, but ours was great). The pool is beautiful as are the rest of the grounds. In fact, I wish I was there right... More

I crossed my fingers and booked one of the last remaining rooms over MLK weekend, and was delighted when I saw my lovely room. A spotlessly clean, big, airy, and light room, with a large bathroom and a terrific shower. Great mattress, too. Really comfortable. I suggest getting to grips with the air/heating system. I didn't take the time to... More

I stayed here over Martin Luther King weekend, a sold out weekend for all my usual go-to hotels like Colony Palms, Viceroy, Saguaro. I grabbed it because it looked cute and the price was not-to-be-believed compared to the high prices asked during high season on a holiday weekend. I loved it. It compares to my beloved Colony Palms in terms... More

We had to move our rooms the first night because of the noise from above, we moved to another room but had similar noise issues. But the staff is friendly, the pool and hot tub in the courtyard were lovely. There is espresso and coffee with pastries in the morning - but it is not really enough for breakfast. Eat... More

The hotel is newly renovated, but they hadn't gotten to our room yet. We had a large terrace room, but the noise from the the restaurants and leaf blowers was ongoing, and annoying. I liked the size of the room, and the fireplace was great, but the location was bad for sleeping and/or relaxing. The pool area is beautiful, but... More

My husband and I stayed at the Alcazar last spring (I have been meaning to write this review ever since, and it's probably a good sign that I am STILL thinking about the vacation we had, in January!) and have nothing but good things to say! Some people may not like the all-white-everything aesthetic of the rooms, but we loved... More

I found the Alcazar by the reviews on TripAdvisor and was excited to stay there. But in the end did not love it. The rooms are stark and almost entirely white (sheets, covers, floors, walls, towels, bathrobes, everything) which is not ideal when you have children with you and doesn't make the room very welcoming. Also, although white everything would... More

I suppose the most convincing recommendation I can relate is that I have traveled from New Jersey to California 15 times just to stay at the Alcazar (and under the previous name Peppertree). I also love to visit Rome, and Italy in general, where I have been over 100 times. This past Fall, my companion and I discussed spending two... More

In August of this year, we married at the lovely Alcazar in Palm Springs and I can't say enough about the magical weekend! It is the ideal location for an event. It was just four of us, but we felt like we were having a big event. They treated us like royalty! We planned to marry poolside and dine afterwards... More

Dogs- Design - Dishes - Devine Destination We have been wanting to stay at the hotel for years. We finally booked a stay in September 2014. Just loved it. Number 1: they are super dog friendly. We love traveling with our pets and its rare for a hotel to be so welcoming to the fur kids. Their brochure even says... More
