Last weekend we decided to spend a nice time relaxing in Palm Springs, California, so we went for the 5th time (and might be the last) to Ivy Palm Spa & Resort. The first surprise the room's phone was out of service - not very important; second surprise I tried to take a shower and there was no way to... More

I read previous reviews and was apprehensive about booking room. I was greeted by the staff when I arrived. The woman who checked me in was pleasant and helpful. The room was clean and the amenities were as described. Pool and hot tub area neat and clean. The cabanas are free and nice to lay out on. The breakfast was... More

Our rooms had ants and a giant cockroach (I'm glad I didn't see it). The TV's are old fashioned with cottage cheese ceilings but it was way cheaper than the Riviera across the street where our party was. Nice staff and good free breakfast. Having fridge was nice as well. Noisy housekeeping carts.

This 'resort' is not close to the town centre, about 45 minutes walk. Average room with stain on carpet. Light switches appeared not to be working. Air conditioning fairly loud. Interesting 'continental' breakfast, cereal, toast, hard boiled eggs, limited fruit, waffles served in reception. The staff we met appeared to be pleasant. Only stayed two nights. American Heat biker weekend was... More

This was certainly not a spa more of a leaflet with a choice of massages at certain times available. The bedrooms look lovely however the beds were incredibly uncomfortable in fact, I had to sleep on a pillow to stop my hips from hurting! The staff looked tired and miserable. The only friendly person we had contact with was the... More

Although only having a stop for the night, the title was a little misleading stating that the Ivy Palm is a resort. It lets itself down with some of its features being run down. The wifi was broken, the documentation printer wouldn't work & the hair dryer in the room wouldn't turn on. Staff were ok & the rooms suitable,... More

Only thing I can say about this place is...where is the resort part of it?? Looks deserted have no means of a fitness room because every machine there is out of order. The best thing I can say about this place is the massages are the best!! Thank you Kerry and Norma you made our day!!

I am not even sure where to start; initially, lady at the reception was very pleasant and check-in went very smoothly. We carried our stuff to the room and that's where the things started to go downhill. AC didn't work and the outside temperature was 107 degF; they moved us to an adjacent room with a nice and brand new... More

You pay for what you get. The room looks like a motel room not a resort / spa. Broken switches, chip furniture, tv doesn't work. The Shower old. The alarm clock didn't work. Old broken desk. I would not stay here again.
