I get to Palm Springs regularly, and, if I'm traveling solo, I always stay at the downtown Motel 6 location. The location is near everything, downtown walkable, very close to Starbucks, Burger King, Jack in the Box, and KFC. The rooms are OK and the staff is friendly. If you are on the south side on the upper floors, you... More

You really do get what you pay for. The advertisted rate was $209 for 2 people, we certainly did not pay that much. It is a clean place to stay, not noisy. They are in the process of renovating some of the somes in the front of the motel. If possible get one of those. Can't really complain, the shower... More

We were passing through to AZ and it was getting late enough for a hotel, We drove through the downtown of Palm Springs and saw the Motel 6. The area is neat and well kept, we drove under the overhang and got a room. We got the AARPs discount, no charge for our small Schipperke, and because of AARPS we... More

If you have ever stayed at a Motel 6 you know what you are going to get. Towels the size of a small envelope, which goes well with the soap the size of a postage stamp. Linens whose color can best be described as a gray transparent... If you are expecting more than this go to a different chain. You... More

Stayed during the week recently. Room in back of the property was very quiet. Handy to downtown. Starbucks and Jack in the Box are steps away. Used the laundry room. Room was clean. Absolutely no complaints. Book AARP rate for best deal. I paid $48, the lowest price you will find downtown (although the Motel 6 East is $5 lower).... More

We were in town for Modernism Week so hotel rates were inflated throughout Palm Springs. $90 for the weekend in the middle of downtown..you can't be it! I was not expecting much so I was pleasantly surprised. The room was clean and did the job. When you are on vacation, most times you aren't spending much time in the hotel... More

Parking was plentiful, and hotel is convenient to the main strip. The pool was clean, as were the grounds. Elevator, snack machine and laundry made things easy. Room was very small, but adequate (carpet was dirty, but aren't they all?). Bathroom was dated from last millennium, but I'd probably stay here again, with a pet.

Just finished a one- nighter at Motel 6 in downtown Palm springs - because my funds were low and my AARP card pushed the rate even lower. Two positives - the bed was decent and I got an extra couple of bucks worth of bonus since it paid my Wi-Fi fee. Yeah - it isn't free. But worth it? I... More

First time @ this chain since weekend nights are out of the question at better hotels in P.S. Best deal around for weekend nights. I was very impressed with the cleanliness (almost sparkling!) room. The front desk even called me once I was settled in to ask if I needed anything & to call them if I do...that is unexpected... More

This is one of the better locations of the chain, and if you reserve in advance - you get good rates. MOST people find that they can't get other hotel reservations at the last moment, so they stop in here. This motel has higher last minute rates - but they are still lower than anything else the traveler can find... More
