We stayed at the Parker for a romantic getaway. It definitely is pricey - that's why we used points and upgraded to a patio room with a hammock. That is my recommendaton - they are more private than the Lanai rooms and have a sweet hammock... The food was awesome of course - better be for the price - but... more

My wife and I greatly enjoyed our long weekend at the Park Palm Springs in September. This is truly a special property with beautiful landscaping and excellent service; a real gem within both the Le Meridian and Starwood hotel brands. Pros: - beautiful grounds with plenty of space for private relaxing - excellent service which lacked the attitude reported by... more

At the Parker Palm Springs, you are treated like a special visitor from the moment that the valet claims your car until the moment you check out. Everyone goes out of their way to be of assistance and provide for your utmost comfort. The grounds of the hotel are amazingly beautiful, and during the time that we were visiting, quite... more

This hotel costs a couple hundred dollars and up per weekend night, yet still needs to charge a $30 daily "resort fee" for: parking (car or no-car), tennis (additional fee required), pool, and TV, and it does NOT have a golf course. They DON'T allow alcohol to be brought in (if they find out, they literally hunt you down to... more

"We're pet friendly," their web site claims. What you discover after you arrive, though, and have to sign a phony-baloney legal waiver, is that your pets are welcome AFTER you pay a non-refundable $150 "deposit." That's pet-unfriendly, and it isn't even a deposit - just a hidden charge you get socked with after you get there. Five doggie growls for... more

I stayed here for three nights in a villa over one of the hottest weekends in August 2009 (peak heat was 113 degrees). We were a bit concerned the heat would make us prisoners in our room. As it turned out, the lush, landscaped grounds created a beautiful garden oasis that not only made the heat bearable but made walking... more

The Parker Palm Springs is a true oasis in the desert. The grounds are breathtaking and the food and service top notch. I am a novice photographer and ended up spending much more time shooting on the Parker property than any other single location in Palm Springs. The rooms are decent - I stayed in a somewhat small one by... more

This was a great place for many reasons: 1) Staff- Very friendly and it was genuine! They wanted to help out. And like a resort should be, there were lots of staff people there. Some places these days call themselves resorts. This really is one. 2) Grounds- Gorgeous! Beautiful spaces, and lots of them. They do a great job keeping... more
