Just got back from Thanksgiving weekend at Caliente Tropics Resort. For a lower-priced hotel, it was a good experience and we plan to stay there again when in Palm Springs. Unashamedly retro "Tiki-land" but kept up nicely. more

This was our 2nd stay here in less than a year. Once again, we were extremely pleased with it. As others have pointed out, this is not a resort per say: it's a themed motel with a pool & hot tub. However, the rooms are great value: clean, aptly serviced, well maintained and the beds (pillows et al) extremely comfortable.... more

After reading the reviews, I thought it was more of a resort, but it's really just a motel. It was fine, clean, fairly quiet, but nothing special. On the ground floor, windows are large and open to the parking lot, so make sure the blinds work. more

This place is a motel that has been modernised but they have done an excellent job. The rooms were clean and spacious and had free wi-fi (which I wasn't expecting). The beds were comfortable, it all looked pretty new and the bathroom and dressing area was especially nice. The service was friendly and the breakfast recommendation the front desk gave... more

My friend recommended this place because it was pet friendly.That was the only good thing about this resort. Cons: 1) There was an odor in our room - mildewy smell 2) The A/C was not blowing cold air. we called the front desk to send someone up and know one ever came. upon leaving the "Resort", we had complained again... more

Had part of our honeymoon here. The rooms are amazing, the pool is fab. I can't wait to go back here. The only bad side was having to leave. I recommend this hotel to everybody more

We just love this place, the location and facility were just what we needed when we came to visit Palm Springs. The room decor,comfy beds and granite wall showers were a plus when we checked in after driving aross the hot desert. I would certainly be back here again and soak in the pool next yr.
