We spent a lot of time reading the tripadvisor reviews of places in Palm Springs before deciding on Desert Hills and are so glad we chose this small hotel. It's adults only because the layout is all ground floor rooms/suites set around the pool and jacuzzi area. We chose a regular King room and it was like a mini suite,... more

What a great hotel! Excellent value for money and a super location. The room we had was very spacious, clean and really well furnished. Molton Brown bathroom supplies was a nice touch. The kitchenette was well equiped. Alot of the larger more expensive hotels could learn a lesson from staying here. My only regret is that we only stayed for... more

My wife and I stayed at Desert Hills for four nights in a one bedroom suite. We have stayed in the Palm Spings "area" several times in the past, but have stayed in the larger resort hotels. This time we decided that we wanted to go back in time a bit and stay in one of the long standing hotels... more

We stayed for a week in the incredibly nice two bedroom deluxe suite at the Desert Hills Hotel. The solitary downside of the visit was the realization that our stay would be entirely too short; we could easily have remained blissfully content for many weeks with the hotel’s ambience, location and friendly staff. The “mid-century modern” style of the hotel... more

Great and convenient hotel with clean rooms, beautiful pool and gardens and easily accessible (walking distance) to downtown palm springs and nearby golf courses. A true bargain. We will be coming back for more. more

We stayed in Superior Studio for three days while hiking in Joshua National Park and Indian Canyons. We loved the location which is couple of blocks away from the town in quiet neighborhood. Room was spacious and nicely decorated. We loved it. more

We spent 7 nights of our honeymoon at the Desert Hills hotel and enjoyed every minute of our stay. From the well-equipped kitchen, to the dazzling surroundings of the hotel this really was a relaxing break before the next part of our honeymoon in Las Vegas. The hotel manager Jim, was excellent and provided pastries and coffee in the mornings... more

What a wonderful place the Desert Hills hotel is. I'm a big fan of mid-century modern architecture and I think this is the best example I have seen. Our bathroom had vintage starburst tiles that looked like they were installed yesterday. This place has obviously been very well taken care of over the years. The location couldn't be better--four blocks... more

We picked this resort after reading the reviews of it on Trip Advisor, and we weren't disappointed. To sum it up... Pros: 1) Quiet resort 2) close to the main hub of Palm Springs 3) small, so there's not hordes of people around 4) nice sized room, bathroom, and kitchen area 5) friendly guests 6) easiest check in and check... more

Just finished staying at the Desert Hills this past Memorial Day weekend (3 nights). First off ... the location/setting is beyond perfect on so many levels. It's close enough to the hub/center that you can walk (and you want to ... because traffic can be annoying) ... but far enough away that it maintains a perfect quietness, 'away-from-it-all' feeling. The... more
