We held a small business meeting here and spent three nights. I cannot say enough about Wayne and Michael. Their attention to detail, sense of humor, amazing food and extensive knowledge of the area made our stay sublime. On our way to the airport we were already discussing how soon we could return. I highly recommend Casa de los Desperados,... More

I stayed at Casa de los Desperados during a trip through California in early April. Thanks to the reviews on this site, I decided to stay at this B&B for two nights and was so glad I did. I had a bit of a challenge finding it at first, which is funny in retrospect, as it is the only house... More

Thank you Wayne and Michael for an incredible 2-day getaway. We cannot say enough about this fantastic weekend getaway. We were looking for an off-the-beaten path desert stay, one with unique cabins, warm hosts, interesting guests, delicious surroundings and gourmet food. You delivered in every way. We enjoyed lovely hiking with your dogs, breakfast table conversations with like-minded independent travelers,... More

I wanted to get off the beaten path, away from the bustle and heat of Palm Springs, and into the quiet. I found all this and more at Casa de los Desperados. Wayne and Michael are gracious and accommodating hosts. I stayed at the Casa for four nights in mid-April and thoroughly enjoyed the peaceful environment, Wayne's awesome breakfasts, and... More

We spent one night at this very secluded and inviting retreat, which is tucked away in the hills of Whitewater Canyon just north of Palm Springs. Sad to say, we did not make arrangements ahead of time to dine at Los Desperados, and that was a very big mistake! We dined instead in Palm Springs, and contented ourselves with the... More

My wife and I stayed at Casa de los Desperados in late February, 2014. We visited the Palm Springs area for the hiking and found this location ideal for accessing trails within the wilderness preserves in the San Bernardino Mountains. The setting is quite stunning as you are up in the desert foothills of the San Bernardinos and look out... More

We had a rough time finding a B&B that could comfortably accommodate 3 women for our annual weekly retreat. Palm Springs is all about couples! Wayne and Michael and Casa de los Desperados to the rescue. And are we ever grateful! No other B&B could have been more delightful, beautiful, relaxing, accommodating...you name it. Wayne and Michael felt like friends... More

I almost hate to write an accurate view of this B and B because it is so wonderful and I want to keep it all to myself and undiscovered...but that wouldn't be fair to Wayne and Michael, who have worked so incredibly hard to make EVERY DETAIL of everyone's visit just PERFECT Setting: Crazy convenient to Palm Springs but completely... This is a small, unique B&B where the owners' attention to detail is obvious throughout. Wayne and Michael are gracious and friendly hosts, and their advice about local attractions and restaurants was spot-on. Wayne seemed to relish the challenge of planning a dinner menu for me and my boyfriend for the bf's birthday: we have various (and minimally overlapping) food... More

Had a wonderful time at Casa de los Deperados with Wayne and Michael. Booking our reservation entailed a bit of back and forth at the beginning, as there is no online booking and the owners are the only full time staff at this B&B - they are the chef/reservationist/owner/host/concierge/groundskeeper/sommelier all rolled into a dynamic duo. We arrived late our first... More
