Looks OK as you drive up. The photos on this site are very flattering. The room was tired and cleaning was only just adequate. Ventilation, which is really essential in Palm springs, was antiquated. The Palm Springs Comfort Inn is not a resort hotel. It is a below standard roadside type motel. The outside of the building, hallways and elevator are in dire need of cleaning, painting, a remodel and basic maintenance. Stayed here 24th & 25th May 2007 very disappointing, room was very smelly and a little dated and they did not have a bar. On the upside the pool was ok and very quiet and it was in a great location for the centre of Palm Springs and they also provided a buffet breakfast which was quite good. more

This property needs a maintenance and possible management update. Squeaky floor above kept us awake for over an hour (both nights). Room smelled, outdated furniture from the 70s. Hotel staff curt and unhelpful. I stay in Comfort Inns across the country and am a Diamond member. This doesn't belong in their chain. Worst I've stayed at. We cancelled after the first night and moved to a Holiday Inn Express. more
