WOW! What a great find the Del Marcos Hotel was!! We booked 2 nights, had such a fantastic time, we ended up staying for a 3rd! The room was so comfortable, the pool was amazing, the decor is awesome....*sigh* I'm ready to go back!! The location is perfect as it's right next to the downtown area, but we honestly didn't... more

We stayed 4 nights in July (English couple with 13 year old son). As others have said this is a small independent and stylish hotel. It was designed in 1947, and is as far from 'corporate' as you can get! Jack, the charismatic owner was often around and happy to chat and advise on the area. We had the Ocean's... more

Great historical gem right in the heart of the action in Palm Springs. Loved being able to stumble right over to the bar at the Viceroy or head up to Spencers at the Tennis Club or just a few steps further to the famous Melvyn's Lounge. Everything is right in your backyard here though the most fun we had was... more

Looking for a room close the the action, but nearly all on the outskirts of centre. Came across Del Marcos only one block (1 minute walk) from the centre of the action (bars, restaurants, nite clubs and evening street markets). Motel in the style of the 50's. All units around the fabulous pool. Well maintained, clean and run by friendly... more

I had stayed at this hotel a number of years ago, and while it had a certain 50’s charm, it was rundown and on the grungy side (especially the bathrooms). I had heard that new owners had upgraded the property, so I booked a stay. I was flying solo this time. Keeping in mind that this is a 60-year old... more

We booked the entire Del Marcos for a 3 day dream wedding weekend! It was absolutely the best location, the best ambiance and the best time in Palm Springs! Weather in April in Palm Springs is absolutely divine! The host was excellent helping us with any need that arrived for us or our friends and family. We were assured that... more

I just got back from a wonderful weekend at the Del Marcos Hotel in Palm Springs. Location, location, location! Steps from Palm Canyon Drive, Great pool, Best mountain Views for under 150 per night. It was a cool ecclectic "Silverlake" mix of guests. Hell with the "staycation", the Delmarcos is worth the tank of gas from LA to rediscover the... more

Had a great Memorial Day weekend stay in this great deal. Nicely redone. Very comfortable. They did a great job hosting the weekend's guests. Location is killer! Walk to all great restaurants downtown and drop into the Viceroy (next door) for evening cocktail. Recommend for sure! Will stay here when in town. more

Nice Location. What I like the best is the pool and the nice pool furniture and the fact that I wasn't scared to touch the bedspread (which I'm pretty much ALWAYS scared to do). The rooms are really clean and completely adorable. My fiance and I just drove in from L.A. and were able to get a room easily just... more

My husband and I stayed at the Del Marcos multiple times and then decided to "upgrade" to the Viceroy next door. What a mistake! Sure they have bars, spa, room service etc. But what we missed was the warm personal service the Del Marcos offers. We are experienced travellers with hundreds of hotel stays under our belts and we LOVE... more
