If you liked the TV show "Friends"- " a place where everyone knows your name", you will LOVE Ruby Montana's Coral Sands. Ruby is a delightful host and when you slip through her door, you will know that you are in a unique place, with everything stamped with her personal touch, That touch says, : 'lighten up , remember you... I cannot recommend Ruby Montana's Coral Sands Inn enough! First of all, the decor is original, super fun and tasteful. The whole place feels very warm and inviting. I felt right at home here. Except my home doesn't have a pool. The pool here is a dream! Lots of lounges and some tables/chairs too, all with plenty of space to... More

I first stayed at the pre-Ruby Coral Sands as a honeymooner in 1985. I vowed to return and did recently on a glorious April weekend, chez Ruby. The coral Sands is what Palm Springs is about: unique, quirky, friendly, intimate in scale -- chill. The rooms, the decor (don't get me started), the pool, the vibe and Ruby are all... More

If you're looking for a unique, funky, out of the fray, yet conveniently located spot to stay in Palm Springs, you've got to hit Ruby's. I'm here with my mom and sister for a little weekend reunion and could not be happier. We are completely enchanted by Ruby, who comes by and checks in and is a great source of... More

There is no reason to stay anywhere else in Palm Springs. The rooms at the Coral Sands are clean, cute, and full of character. We love the the Howdy Doody Goes to Bali and the Yiddish Cow Girl room. After staying at the ACE, Viceroy and the Parker - Ruby Montana's Coral Sands is at the top of our list.... More

My husband and I have stayed at Ruby's Coral Sands more times than I can count - business trips & personal. No matter the reason, the Coral Sands is our home away from home in Palm Springs. Each room is decorated in a different theme - eclectic, comfortable and just a little edgy. Recently, Ruby has been updating the rooms... More

This is my oasis, my home in the desert where I can be myself and relax – it is my “happy place”. I have been staying at the Coral Sands for over 5 years with my partner - we have visited countless times. We have stayed in all but one of the 6 rooms and have enjoyed them all. We... More

We are from Seattle so knew about Ruby and had been to the Pinto Pony. Staying at the motel was like walking into her shop, a shop owned by a friend. Our room was the rodeo room which was full of all kinds of wonderful little things. The king sized bed was very comfortable. I thought it would be noisy... More

We stayed for one night after we had camping fatigue from Coachella for the festival... We arrived early, desperate for a shower and Ruby was cleaning out the rooms, when she saw us she got our two rooms done so fast! She was amazing. I was staying in the Yiddish Cowgirl room, great bed, very quiet at night, good strong... More

A group of girlfriends took over all 7 rooms for 3 nights and it was perfect. Every room of this one level pink motel faces a kidney shaped pool. 3 of the rooms had kitchens in them so we ate in one night and enjoyed having snacks and fridge on hand. We even had a blender for mandatory pool-side drinks!... More
