Yes, unfortunately, Hotel California is the third sad, tired place needing renovations that I have mistakenly booked due to Trip Advisor recommendations. I Love This Place. This was my third stay at the Hotel California. I Love the court yard and spa pool. The rooms are large and very clean, and what a perfect location. The owner is very friendly and helpful. He has a real pride of ownership. I will be sure to stay here again next year. more

We recently had the pleasure to spend a night and found the accommodations and hospitality to be delightful. Our room was actually a two-story suite that was very comfortable and well priced. We appreciated the breakfast with the home cooked waffles. The owner was very personable and we learned we actually built the place. His love for it shows! more

So a few weeks earlier we stayed at the #1 rated property in Palm Springs and loved it. We couldn't get in there - so end up staying here. Above all else this property is so perfect value wise. I stayed at the Hotel California for 1 night and the place is very nice considering the price. It's a great value selection -- the rooms are clean and very comfortable. The staff are nice and very accomodating. The walls are a little thin though so you can be woken up by other guests during the night. more
