I've stayed at this place well over 10 times and I gotta say its one of those love hate relationships...I don't like it but I kept going back for some reason... I haven't been at this hotel in over a year and not planning to go back here anytime soon. I think I just got tired of staying at this... more

We used priceline to get a room in PS for 2 nights. I was weary after reading the reviews about the 'deal' we got from Priceline to stay at the Hyatt downtown. It is a bit tired and dated but it's really not as bad as some of the reviews suggest. The good is this: The rooms are spacious and... more

Where should I start? Let's start with the hotel property itself... The "suites" are nothing more than a tiny bedroom & "family" room with very out-dated furnishings & old bedding. I think the floor might have been more comfortable than the actual bed itself, it was the worst night’s sleep I've had at any hotel! Our "non-smoking" room reeked of... more

Room showed some signs of wear, but for us this was far outweighed by pros such as spacious sitting room area with sofa, armchair and dining table, small frig, large bathroom and bedroom areas, pleasant balcony with nice view, and great location for walking to restaurants and shops. Room was very clean, and pool area nice. Hotel was quiet in... more

i stayed here with most of my family for Christmas and we had a wonderful trip. palm springs was the perfect getaway for us and it was so nice to get away from chilly British Columbia. the rooms were huge with a seperate bedroom and living room. the staff was very helpful and they had beautiful artwork all over the... more

The good: good bed and pillow; nice bathroom; excellent downtown location near shops and PS art museum; roomy suite; very friendly staff; equipment all in working order. For those who like TV, one TV in each room of the two-room suite. The not so good: staff training, e.g., we were first sent to a room which was already occupied, and... more

We chose this location as a mid-winter weekend getaway. The suites were big and clean; however, the property is in need of a refresh. Downtown Palm Springs has definitely seen better days (like 1969) so I can't imagine Hyatt putting real money into this hotel when the neighborhood appears to be in decline. The newer resort area appears to be... more

My husband and I decided to do a quick getaway to Palm Springs, CA. We decided to stay at the Hyatt because we always have had great experiences in their other locations. Boy, was I disappointed. My husband's expectations were very low due to the fact that he read reviews on this website after I booked the room.I should have... more

I had a room on the back side of the hotel, overlooking the pool and adjacent golf course and with a very nice mountain view. Large balcony provided enough space for two people to sit. Decent outside bar when the weather allows, which in January was daytime. Staff was nice enough, but not warm. Room service was on time and... more

The location of this hotel is great, you can walk up and down the main street in P.S. BUT it seems that Hyatt has not upgraded or even maintained this hotel. We stayed in 2 different rooms, the carpet and furniture in both were stained and worn. Sheets were worn and stiff. Rooms not too clean. No service at the... more
