Each May we attend the Arthur Lyons Film Noir Festival at the Camelot Theater in Palm Springs (highly recommended!). Last year we stayed at the "Sparrows", which I reviewed as a "minimalist hipster hotel". It was too minimalist for our taste, so we decided to try Casa Cody, one of the sponsors of the film festival. Casa Cody dates from... More

The hotel is very original, with rooms round a heated pool or garden at the book. Furniture is original and local. Located very centrally which is highly convenient. There are quirks - internet didn't appear to work with mobile phones, the beds are very soft and mattresses need replacing. Overall a unique stay and worth it.

My wife and I spent 12 nights at the Casa Cody and I can't think of enough good things to say about it. Still, I'll try. It's wonderfully rustic, which is the source of its charm. The grounds, which include lots of citrus trees, are beautifully maintained. For being just two blocks from downtown, it's remarkably quiet and peaceful. From... More

We have stayed here a few times. All three times we took our two dogs with us. They loved the property and the property was very pet friendly. The one bedroom suite was our favorite as it had a great sized room and a nice living area. The last time we went we went with my extended family. My wife... More

I stayed here with my sister and sister-in-law for a long weekend. It was the perfect place for us. Just two blocks from downtown, we could easily walk to our favorite coffee shop, to get our nails done, and to shop. It is a small, quiet hotel in the old hacienda style-- adorably decorated and very comfortable. The staff is... More

This small old hacienda hotel in the heart of Palm Springs is very nice but needs a slight bit of updating. It is clean and the rooms are very well appointed but our Room # 4 could use a new bathroom and updated kitchen. What I really liked about our room was the access to both pools and could open... We stayed at Casa Cody for a weekend getaway in May. This is the perfect kind of hotel for us. It is a quaint but very pretty property in the hacienda style. It is a short walk to the main strip in downtown. Since all the buildings are one level and meander through the property, you really don't see a... More

I wanted to stay hear after hearing great things about it from a friend who stayed here some years ago. It isn't really a B&B so much as a small, vintage hotel. It has lots of character, but is getting worn. The towels were thin and had holes in them. The pools and walkways were full of leaves. This place... More

We absolutely loved this gem of a small B&B like inn. Rooms were cozy and large, location perfect, Breakfast included. Grounds are lovely. My only negative was this is a dog friendly place, so if you are bothered by barking, ask for a room away from the doggie rooms. Fortunately it was only one night of yipping. I would definitely... We spent 4 nights at Casa Cody and generally loved it. It's a great property, with lots of nice touches and views of the mountains. We had a studio with ample privacy, a lovely back patio and a very comfortable bed. There is a heated pool, a regular pool and a hot tub. The other guests were laid back, a... More
